Will it Start? VICTA Frankenstein 2 Stroke Lawnmower - Built from Junk!

I was cleaning up the junk lawnmower parts around my backyard, engines and parted out old chassis, when I came across the Green Alloy Body Mustang Chassis that had been parted out by someone else, when I thought I wonder if I can actually put together a modern twist on the Classic Mustang from 1983. Let's couple it with a modern Powertorque Engine from a rusted out chassis and a few other parts that were also destined for the Scrap metal recycler and see if we can build something classic that will last for another 20 or so years!
If anybody is interested in the pliers / wrench that I use in this video to remove and tighten the decompressor, they are Knipex Pliers / Wrench and are IMHO simply awesome. It's like you have the flexibility of multi-grip pliers but the strength and precision of a spanner (or socket) in one tool. Here is a link to them: amzn.to/3IXaf4S

Nice job. I prefer your version with the yellow caps and black top. Youve inspired me to do the same. I built an alloy body with parts from 4 different mowers and it was so easy. Keep up the inspiration.

Drew I love Victa lawnmowers I would like to see you mowing the lawn with this Mustang there is not a lot of people on You Tube using 2 stroke Victa mowers these days after all it’s what they where built for thanks

Wouldn’t expect anything other than an expert and quality rebuild from DFI. I like both the versions. Maybe edging toward the red hubs and white cover.

Ah nice. He certainly loves a Victa 2 stroke. Can't help himself hehe. I think I like the black and gold -in the spirit of the build. If it was a guitar it would be a partscaster of sorts.

Nice work on the victa lawn mower bringing it back to its glory. I think the black top and red caps would look great for frank I just restored a 2 stroke rover lawn mower with a suzuki engine on the deck. I enjoy restoring old mowers when i get the chance to and off load to some who will look after it.
