Hands down best vid ive seen for a GQ TD42, this legend explains everything in my language. I reckon fox tv should puck him up and make a car show woth him in it. I've just learnt in 45 minutes what I would try and Google for all that probably about 40 hours. Thanks.

That clutch was a big mistake. I used to work for repco and we had a warranty bench stacked to the roof with those clutches. Even worse I purchased one and put it in my TD42T ute, their biggest clutch, it couldn’t tolerate 600Nm. Burned out after 2500km on the beach one day. Should’ve gone NPC from the start.

700,000km on these is nothing & the old girl probably isn't broken in. Turbo charging it will give it a huge kick over the standard NA 4.2 donk which needed a good plant of the right foot to get results. Just wondering if an electric fuel pump was looked at as well. Duel mass clutch needs to be balanced with correct balancer crank will not be balanced if single mass clutch fitted and front of crank will snap off. This happened a lot in duel clutch 265 motors that came out with duel clutch set up. People replaced them with single clutch crank became unbalanced and snapped front off. So if single mass clutch fitted balancer change to match.
