Wow! Thanks Daniel! Thanks for the support and kind words! You can totally do these things! Two of the major things to do is 1: Make your channel your own. Build a musical/drumming channel that fits you and what you want. For instance, I like a cinematic camera that pulls more emotion into the cover where Casey Cooper likes an informative camera that shows drumming technique effectively. Both are great, but both are different. 2: Do the homework, aka the boring stuff. Spend as much time getting to know your camera, audio equipment, and computer softwares as you do drumming. the same mics and mixer recorded this cover as the mics and mixer that recorded my bring me to life cover, but since I learned how to use my equipment, there's a BIG quality difference. Finally, I've/We've just got to stick with it to get noticed. I have a year and a half to reach my goal # of subs lol

Thanks man! All it is are triplets thrown around the kit over four beats. It's different every time I do it, but I just make sure not to hit any cymbals exempt the hihat. Like ONE one one TWO two two THREE three three FOUR four four. You can make it sound kind of weird (like I did in this take) if you hit the snare every other pulse, because it'll sound like it wants to be a two step, but it still just triplets lol Hope that helps!

Wow 72 takes! That's crazy. Most I've done is like 10 takes and that drove me nuts haha good take is always tough. I would watch my videos again and be like "oh mistake here" "oh mistake there".. Thanks! Thanks for watching! Well, I only have one overhead so there's a volume compromise. If I turn it up, the crashes are too loud. If I turn it down for the crashes, I loose my ride. I'm working on some new mics that'll fix the problem. My ride is an 22" Omni from Sabian, it's waaaay awesome but it's Achilles Heel is volume, it's a bit quiet.

Hey will incredible drum sound the drums are perfect for this song one question though your ride sounds really dry and its sustain is really short were shooting for that sound on purpose? that is the only thing that stuck out to me your toms make such a difference of this song though just incredible.. personally the only thing I would change is a thick 16' crash with longer sustain for the impact(chorus 'here me roar") and a small but heavy/thick ride to give it more sustain on the verses.

Your stuff is pretty tight! As tight as mine at least! It usually takes me forever to get a good take. Sometimes up to three hours lol my ET cover had 72 takes!! The only thing I can see is that your video is sometimes ahead of your audio, but that's just a matter of syncing the two.
