Their roles are different. De bruyne is a play maker , great passer and finisher. While mbappe is a striker , who has pace , dribbling skills and finishing. And he performed at vital times like World cup final against prime Argentina team, semi final and other knockout stages like in UCL. De bruyne has not done that at times enough.
