That's like the road I grew up on. But it was a dead end. My father was riding Dawn, our Palomino/Morgan and I didn't realize! It was feeding time and I banged the pail. The other horses came running - and so did Dawn! Dad said all he could do was make sure his head was lower than hers. He didn't punish her. She was just being a horse. He loved horses. Dad was disabled from WW2 but still loved to ride them once in a while even though he had a bad knee. He liked showing them when he could. But mostly, they were part of the family, as I saw it. I fed them most of the time and loved it.

Hi again MATT Happy to see you're still enjoying Colorado. Good you all got out on the trail so you could take in some of the views. Believe me there's so many spectacular ones truly beyond imagining unless you see them in person. Next time you go there you should take a couple days of a driving trip to take in some of it. All breathtaking! That gelding is quite amazing for not much training! I've never run in to one with that kind of beginning talent. Can hardly wait to see him in 30 and 60.

Little late commenting... but views were pretty, horses way prettier! Im from the east coast mountains, so your southwestern views are #1 on my bucket list!!! And in my honest opinion -- EVERY horse is an off road horse, it what they were made for! Can't wait to see the update on the mustang makeover. Karen is too pretty to be a hat girl! "Trail ride" down a dirt road, haha. I love you guys, but you definitely don't have Off-road horses :p You should see some of the wilderness area rides we take in the White Mountains of New Mexico. Those will make you clench up pretty good in some spots.
