Earlier medical coding was very good field from 2015 - 2018 but after that, work culture has deteriorated very much. Now targets have increased like anything, most of the managers are very unprofessional. I have seen my friends in coding work Sat-Sun also the major issue in this field is getting holidays. Also if any assiciate takes leave, his targets are transferred to other associates and its a nightmare

sir, i recently completed my masters degree in Bio science from cu and i'm interested in pursuing this field. since i'm new to this entire career option , i need guidance. I've thought about sitting for AAPC cpc exam but at the same time a lot of confusions are there such as , where should i take the coaching from , how to get the books , whether it's possible to cover the syllabus with self study or not. so is it possible to provide some guidance?
