In today's vlog, we had to take a ferry all the way to arguably one of the best islands in the Philippines, Siquijor. Since our most recent trip to Siquijor, we realized just how unique and laid back the vibe is in the island that made us want my parents to see exactly what the less popular tourist destinations in the Philippines has to offer and we didn't expect that this would end up being their favorite island! Even though its small, they can get everything they are used to there.. There is a german baker on the island (Brezeln, gescheites Brot, usw.) and also such a restaurant, and someone who makes sausages too.. If you need more informations, tell me. And of course Dumaguete, which is near thereand there they get absolutely everything they are used to, thanks to the big expat community, they have at least 4 bakerys offering european bread and one german or austrian butcher also if I remember correctly. Especially the town of Valencia in Dumaguetes hills, a french person making croissants, a spanish person making tortillas and other stuff, a german person making bread. Especially there, it would be so easy to make german-speaking friends. There is a reason why Dumaguete was named on of "The 7 Best Places To Retire Around The World" by Forbes Magazine. If you count Bohol, Siquijor and Dumaguete region (and maybe Cebu) together, they have more good european food and product options available than in whole Manila region
