She already did, similar to how there were Vtubers before Kizuna Ai, she is the one that blew the concept up, there are AI Vtubers that existed before Neuro, even 1 that used the same Kiyori model, but Neuro the only one so far that even hit this height.

We're watching because of the turtle and other guests interactions with the chatbot. There are tons AI VTubers at the same tech level, it's just LLM + TTS + Scripted events, but no one cares. It's Vedal's community and connections make it work.
@strim198714 күн бұрын
@@SoGoodRightNow There is no one even close to the same technical level as Neuro, do not underestimate its ability to interact with games, discord and twitch, and let's be honest, Vedal's obsession with latency is paying off, it is important in most interactions and will greatly help with vision and other things in the future. But it is also wrong to think that Vedal is the only successful AI VTuber developer. Of course, no one is even close to Neuro's success, but many are trying, someone is trying to copy the formula of interaction "AI + human", because it obviously works, someone is doing a little better than others. Here it is more a situation where it will be incredibly difficult to catch up with the leader, since he is developing faster than everyone else is catching up with him. The best example that I know has grown to several hundred online after a year of development and won one of the nominations in the competition of his language region, which shows some attention among the local VTuber community, but is still completely unknown on a global scale
@SoGoodRightNow14 күн бұрын
@@strim1987 You are just wrong lmao. The tech is open-sourced. Neuro is just a mix of STT (Speech-to-Text), LLM (Language Model), and TTS (Text-to-Speech). The LLM itself is relatively simple, but it has been trained on Twitch chat, making it well-suited to its target audience. Vedal and his connections are what make the concept work. The AI is primarily a unique twist to help it stand out among other VTubers. There have been more advanced AI projects with fake streamers and similar concepts created by professional engineers. However, those projects often lack the charisma and relatability that Vedal brings to the table. After all, a young, relatable femboy has broader appeal than a team of nerdy engineers. That said, you’re free to idealize your influencer as much as you like

@@SoGoodRightNow So I do not argue that Vedal as a person and a person on the stage plays an important role, and that if it were not for his connections with other Vitubers, he would not have made such progress. But these connections themselves appeared, among other things, because he was also a person behind the scenes and worked a lot with the technical part, so that it was interesting to interact with Neuro. I think that for half a year or more, Neuro was practically the hook alone. And now it is still important for retaining and growing the audience, the emergence of new ways to interact with it gives Vedal and others more opportunities to prove themselves and implement ideas that would not have been possible to implement at the previous stage. So the technical part is important, and if there are other examples of its better implementation - well, I do not see them. For starters, if there were such examples, Vedal would immediately steal their technology, but just recently he complained that four days of searching in terms of suitable AI development technologies yielded nothing. Which I think just shows his leading position in this particular niche

vedal is right. I've seen a few other attempts at A.I. vtubers and they were so far behind neuro/evil that it was almost sad. I don't blame them. It's clearly a **LOT** of work and very expensive as well, but in any sort of competition vedal is assrapingly unbeatable.
@aiasfree15 күн бұрын
You'd think one of the big-name corpos would've tried emulating Neuro-sama's success with a dedicated team of developers or something. Think that sort of economic power would be the only thing capable of putting in the necessary work needed to bridge the gap between where Neuro-sama is now and where 'from scratch' is. Then again, if some company like Hololive or Nijisanji were to start releasing an AI vtuber project, it'd 100% look bad on them since people would either think they're trying to replace their current talent or are trying to push out Neuro-sama from the space. It's honestly extremely fortuitous that Vedal's managed to put himself in such an advantageous position where you basically can't see any real competition unless it pops up over night which is impossible or Neuro-sama as a project ends. The current AI vtubers all lack the technology and development that Neuro-sama currently has, so it'll likely take a long while until one of them is "mature" enough to exceed Neuro-sama. At that point it's largely due to the fundamental technology behind the vtuber and its potential limits, I think. Like, if one of them managed to make an AGI AI vtuber right off the gate or something.

Yeah. Since there is such a stigma against AI in general, even if it is being used in a unique and non-intrusive way there will always be a decently sizeable opposition to it. This is even harder specifically with an AI vtuber, since two things that lots of people dislike for one reason or another are intrinsically your main brand. That amount of wanton hate targeted towards your project could make lots of people give up prematurely. I'm just glad that Vedal continued Neuro, since there was definitely a world in which he discontinued her due to extreme opposition.

Tbh I think this was a lightning on a bottle moment. I don't think neuro "paves the way" for ai vtubers the same way kizuna ai might have done. Cause ai content is generally seen in a negative light for trying to replace the real people or when it's not trying to replace anyone it's generally a novelty of the week kinda thing that gets forgotten. Vedal managed to keep it interesting by constantly working and improving neuro and interacting with her, essentially removing a high amount of the automatic part of ai, but as a result it has lasted this long. And even if someone tries to do the same they'll be so far behind compared to neuro in development that it will feel like a regression to people. So it would have to somehow be unique in a way that gives it new merit to actually catch on imo. And like someone else said, a vtuber corporation could theoretically make up for the need for gradual development by having a whole team of devs working with cutting edge ai to make something up to par tech wise, but the mere fact it's a corporation doing would immediately turn off a lot of people as it would be seen as the first category I mentioned of "ai replacing people" in this case the normal vtuber talent of a corpo. Plus I doubt they would constantly give their own so vtuber a constant stream of fun people to chat of off their he same way vedal does, since the people doing would be likely paid to do it rather than approaching it on their own like the whole veadlverse slowly did. So idk unless something crazy happens I think vedal will stay in this totally unique unchallenged position for the foreseeable future
