I’m an American who lives in Ukraine with my Ukrainian wife. This report is absolutely outstanding. Thank you very much! Especially about the Russians propaganda. Well done.

This Australian wishes Ukraine to triumph, as soon as possible. I'm enormously disappointed in Trump's U.S Presidential election victory and also the inadequate support from The West with respect to Ukraine defeating Russia.

Quite simply, Ukraine has been fighting to not become another Belarus since they declared independence from the Soviet Union...and that is exactly what they are fighting for now with their lives. Ukrainians were successful in deposing their Kremlin backed government (namely Yanukovic) because Ukraine has always had much longer robust history of civil disobedience and some form of democracy than has Belarus...yes Ukraine's democracy was deeply corrupt democracy, but a democracy none the less...Belarus has never had this. I guess one could argue that the election that first Put Lukashenko in power was free and fair election...but like Orban but on a far more extreme Autocratic level...Lukashenko with the help of Moscow... more and more took away democratic institutions and mechanisms to the point where he became an unopposed dictator in power for 0ver 20 years and claiming victory with a prepostrous 90% of the Belarusian vote...setting off the protests in 2020. Putin couldn't get away with putting down the Maidan in 2014 as he was able help Lukashenko squash revolt in Minsk in 2020. Mostly because Lukashenko's security apparatus is far more robust and far more linked to the Kremlin. Putin I'm sure was hoping Yanukovic was going to crush the revolt on the Maidan...but Yanukovic was no Lukashenko, and Ukraine was not, has never been, and never will be Belarus. So when his flunky fled in the night...he soon invaded and annexed Crimea instead...as a pre-curser to his 2022 full scale invasion to decapitate and replace the Zelensky government with a regime of his choosing and subjugation. It's not about territory or the Donbas, or reclaiming Ukraine as part of Russia...it's about reclaiming it's sphere of influence...bot near and abroad. What is happening in Georgia is the Georgian people trying to do what Ukrainians did on the Maidan in 2014...fight for their agency and freedom to choose it's own path...namely away from Moscow and towards Europe.

The truth is on her side. She doesn't need to be 'slick'. Ukraine is not a tiny and totally innocent weakling; Russia is not an omnipotent ogre.

I’m an 85 year old American living in Michigan. I get my US and world news from the internet on Tube. I spend just as much time keeping up with updates on the war in Ukraine as US news. I always check first the source and the date of the article. Since I spend most of my day in front of my big computer screen surfing You Tube sources, I’ve learned the various biases of most news sources. I sometimes also check a few sources of accurate analysis of the degree and direction left or right of bias of most media news sources themselves. My advice on how viewers can separate truth from lies or exaggeration would be to two fold; 1. Acknowledge learned bias of the media source itself, plus on the topic being covered. 2. Truthfully acknowledge our own biases. My evaluation of this Kyiv Post interview with Julia Mendel and Jason Jay Smart is, first, that it’s naturally biased; a. against the Kremlin with its loyal oligarchs and b. for Ukraine. It’s important to me to honestly recognize that their comments fit my opinions very well. It’s a natural bad habit we all fall into. I must add that I do check media sources that I know are opposite my own beliefs - although it’s often painful to listen to obvious one sided exaggerations or one-sided facts. Lastly, when I recognize that I’m overly occupied with or worried about some aspect of resent news subjects, I STOP WATCHING DAILY NEWS ENTIRELY for a while. That’s my bottom line advice for viewers! Also COMPLETELY AVOID FORMING YOUR OPINIONS BASED ON SOCIAL MEDIA, EVER!

Correct,, its the freedom of people of Ukraine that's import. Without liberty creativity does exist. Without creativity the free market economy,, necessary to rebuild Ukraine wont into the economic powerhouse it is destined to become.

I will hope that the Ukrainian people will get rid of their own Oligarchs and choose the, for ordinary people, successful Scandinavian model with free healthcare, education and childcare and NOT the American one who has Capitalism without moral compass, much like Russia, but with "elections". Ukrainian, you have become heroes for the majority of people in Europe and we want our politicians to donate whatever you need. I hope you understand that corruption is not only a Ukrainian problem in Europe, all countries have it, but they call it something else.. Stay strong and protect the weak Slava Ukraine from Sweden 🖖🇸🇪🇪🇺✊🇺🇦 Tuck Frump, Putin, their Enablers and Oligarchs like Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson

Peace is Russia withdrawing from Ukraine. In a war of attrition Russia is not a winner.
Could someone provide perspective of dictatorsip lifespan phases with duration expectations. Anna gave short initation which would need wider clarification. We have many of those closing the final boiling before expected break up. Would be great to hear real analysis of them. 🙏💙

ask Vladimir Vladimirovich about that...the war could be over overnight, if he got the F out of Ukraine. What is there to understand?...Russia invaded a Sovereign Nation that was not a physical threat to it. The only threat was (for Putin and his mob cartel in the Kremlin) a West leaning democratic Ukraine that acts a an example for Russians how life can be. This war is about Putin's personal and regime survival. Ukrainians are fighting with their lives to not be another Belarus...and they've been fighting that fight since they announced independence from the Soviet Union...just as every former Soviet Republic did...including Russia. Russia attacked a sovereign neighbour with 10 x less population, immensely smaller military capabilities, and who gave up their nuclear weapons leftover from the former Soviet Union in return for security guarantee (of which Russia was signatory).
