1 They had the discipline to slow down the action and it gave the audience time to think about what was happening with full mental immersion. 2 They were selling, and the audience could see the physical toll of each bump. 3 They allowed themselves to show the emotion, and the audience could feel the struggle. 4 They could read the audience and respond, because of the above, namely point 1. Suspension of disbelief. This is the magic ingredient. AEW has most everything else, but the soul of wrestling is in the heartfelt reaction of the audience.

Haters will try to find something to hate. Let me put an end to that Story: These 2 have been friends for 5 years. Will is trying to fit into the Callis family and Takeshita and Fletcher are kind of the outer range. Fletcher is Will’s protege. Kyle took Will to the limit and Fletcher still has room to grow. The ending with Kyle saying hit me don’t matter if we’re friends is CINEMA. Selling: Will’s selling is unreal and he coaches the talent he works to balance the selling in the match. The selling in this match was good not perfect but good. Goal of the match: The story, now Will has put on 2 legendary dances in his first 2 appearances and has the attention of one of the best dancers ever in BD. The story is combat based. But it’s still a story.

And I'm glad YOU know their backstory, but not everyone will. And why are they fighting if they're basically in the same group. I have a few problems with the match. 1. The top rope dragon suplex ( really cool ) it felt like they should have let sizzle a little longer. Have Will wait for Kyle to get and tell he was that close. (Time to breathe a little) 2. The finish: it screamed Ric vs. Shawn but to me Kyle look like he was ready to counter instead he just took it. Good match it just took me out of it here and there.
