Yo this was nuts, they beat the dog ish out each other, if Fletcher doesnt won the Continental Classic, then this would be for nothing. One of the best non championship matches of the year. Fantastic performance from both men ****3/4

More like a move count per match of the year contender. He’s great, really I like him. But he does too much to often. it’s not good in all matches. It takes away the special element it is supposed to have. He should have done a match like this this time but with a little less still. It’s just that he’s done this in every match so it isn’t as meaningful.

That’s not how he was taught as a wrestler, especially coming up and becoming a full fledged wrestler (and less spot monkey) through the NJ dojo. You have a showcase singles match, *you don’t* hold back. That should be the standard.

Ya they r trying to build a new star, I like the new direction of fletcher, and he is good in ring but ya wayyyy too many moves and kick outs of insane moves that should have been finishing the match. It was multiple matches worth of moves and a half a match worth of psychology with the little bit they had about their past together. Let’s just hope they keep trying to make actual stories and main event talent that isn’t a joke like hangnail and middle age bucks who have done nothing but get less over in the 5 years they have been in aew.
