My group ironman friends all quit, or couldn't get into it much. I really hope OSRS stays around for a long time. I was putting 100's of hours into my ironman, but being alone was boring so I restarted on a regular account. I'm just doing content I didn't do on my ironman and having fun. Great video dude, keep it up!

osrs is the epitome of nostalgia for me, before I even knew I was a gamer, 20 years ago, playing rs was one of the greatest rpg experiences for me

Just came back and doing my first Ironman play through. It really feels like how I played back in 2005. I rarely traded with folk unless I struggled to get it myself. I think I only ever bought a whip(when it was released) and potions. The accomplishments feel great, and it’s like my own time capsule. All the hours are still there & I can probably continue playing ‘til I die at my current rate. Nostalgia is big for me. But all the new content has me excited. So I’m not sure so can say that’s the driving factor anymore. Osrs is on an uprise I think, sure didn’t expect it Thanks for the content brotha.

I play osrs because it is still a meritocracy. My wife and I as talking about this the other day. There are no micro transactions. It's not pay to win. You see a maxed UIM, someone put in some time and effort. For me the Ironman mode was a breath of fresh air. Every account upgrade feels earned.

Absolutely I agree 100% the only thing I pay for is membership and that’s it! It’s awesome and I’m glad that for atleast OSRS there is no micro transactions. Huge W coming from Jagex!

@OSRSNukezMonty Games could be like this. Not just Rs either. Look at From Software. I have beaten The Dark Souls games, Bloodborne and Elden Ring. Look at the success of Elden Ring. I think it has one DLC pack now, and I have bought DLC from From Software. It is usually an additional games worth of content that you can tell wasn't cut from the main game. Gamers are aching for something they can sink their teeth into, that's why RuneScape will never die. Modern games are like a candy bar and RuneScape is like a steak.

This game dies i think when rs3 does. Unfortunately a large reason osrs exists is because rs3 takes the mtx on the chin.
