Something about this woman’s body language makes me feel sad. I could be wrong, but it seems like her “spiciness” is a defense mechanism. Her mannerisms seem childlike and vulnerable at times. It made me think she doesn’t feel emotionally safe, it started in childhood, the spiciness is her shield. If, I’m correct it’s going to be difficult for her to correct the behavior without addressing the subconscious trigger that’s causing the behavior.

I feel like one thing that should have been talked about more is the husband’s answer to Karamo’s question “Do you want to be with your wife?”. She said earlier that one thing that hurts her is that when he leaves, it’s like he’s not planning on coming back. I wish she had had the occasion to open up about this more. That way he also could have found better ways for him to cope with his emotions, rather than pseudo-abandoning her. To me, her “spicy” communication is just a symptom of her feeling scared + not wanting to do efforts for a relationship where the other person seems to wanna leave anyways. Like she said, she used to speak nicer, but as long as he doesn’t reassure her about him staying, I don’t think she will feel safe enough to tone herself down.
