Pakistan's Prime Minister has launched the country's first-ever National Security Policy.
It seeks to shift the focus away from the military to a citizen-centric framework and aims to have economic security as its core.
Imran Khan says Pakistan has been in dire need of a strategy that ensures the protection of its people and guards economic interests.
Opposition parties have criticised the government for not including them in the process.
So how will Imran Khan enforce this policy?

Why pakistan cannot solve conflict with india? Because pakistan has converted a political border dispute into an islamic jihadists issue. Pakistan did so because it always felt that by encouraging an islamic jihadists sentiments against India in the name of Kashmir will keep Pakistani Muslim society relegiouly motivated enough to continue a long standing battle against India with the presumption that a day will arrive when India will leave kashmir just like Soviets troops left afganistan in late 80s. Hmm good point, indeed army generals are given plots of land and mansions to enjoy towards retirement but then again they do serve on front line and put their lives at risk, which common man can't. So yeah high risk jobs come with high rewards and I think this is in the case in all countries regardless rich or poor.
