I think the reason TLJ is a "great next chapter for the Skywalkers" is because I think that Rey, like Ren, is also the child of Han and Leia. I think that fifteen years ago, Han hid little Rey underneath the floorboards of the Millennium Falcon while saying, "I'll come back for you sweetheart." The Irving Boys then stole the ship. Ducain then stole it from them, who then sold the girl, and the ship, to Unkar Plutt on Jakku. Ducain told Rey that he'd take her back to her family. That's why, during the flashback, little Rey calls out after Ducain, as he's flying off, "No! Come back!" Han effectively lost little Rey, out in space, along with the Millennium Falcon. That's why Rey's in the exact same place as the ship. It's not a coincidence! Han spends the next fifteen years, "double checking the Western Reaches" looking for Rey. Han screws over his fellow smugglers outta their money because he's using that money to try and find Rey. Ren kills Han for committing the crime of losing the girl. A teenage Ben Solo felt Rey's pain on Jakku, causing him to turn to the dark side. According to Star Wars lore a Jedi can sense when a loved one is in pain. (The book "Bloodline" said that Ben didn't go bad until after the age of 23. I think that this was put in just to keep fans from figuring out the truth.) When Ren tells Han that, "His old self was weak and foolish like his father." He says this because Ren also blamed himself for failing to protect little Rey. (Ben's little sis.) When Ren reads Rey's mind, he becomes angry when saying, "You think that Han's like the father you never had. He would of disappointed you." Ren means that Han "disappointed" him "as a father" in some way. All the flashbacks and exposition, explaining all of this, will be delivered to the audience by Han Solo, via a bunch of missed, and omitted, conversations that took place during TFA. Like when Maaz tells Han, "Tell me about the girl." The camera then pans off them. Then later on Leia says, "Han told me about the girl." But we didn't HEAR Han tell Leia about the girl did we? And, I think, that Han does recognize Rey. When Rey "bypasses the compressor" Han has a non-plus reaction and runs to talk to Chewy. Rey makes a face like, "Why did he react that way?" You see how eager Han is to talk to Chewy when he says to BB8, "Ball move!" Han just realized that his long lost little girl was right in front of him. He was shitting his pants! I believe that you'll hear all those, unheard, conversations in episode nine. (More Harrison Ford in Star Wars. Yay!) The original trilogy teased scenarios like Luke killing his own father, to protect his sister, causing him to turn to the dark side, and Leia becoming a Jedi herself. These same scenarios are being played out, and coming to fruition, with Ren and Rey, the next generation. Now it is heavily implied that Rey is Luke's daughter. I do think that Luke has a deceased wife and a long lost child, I just don't think that this child is Rey. I believe that it's actually General Hux. My theory being that; Hux is Luke's force-less born son in disguise. Luke Junior grew up dying of force envy. After interrogating Poe, Ren tells Hux, "I leave that [the non-force magic] to you." Luke Junior is visible seen sneering with jealousy at Han Junior. When Snoke and Ren talk of the "awakening" in the force, Hux is seen walking just off frame. (This is suspiciously done, just to show the audience, that Hux DOESN'T have the force.) Snoke had a member of his shadow council "pass off" Luke Junior as Hux Junior to hide his true identity. Hence why Hux Senior just "discovers" his illegitimate son one day. That's also why "Ginger Hitler" is far too young to be a top military commander. AND that is also WHY is this bad guy a boyishly-handsome, cleft-chinned redhead. Is all this suspicious? Of course! That's because he's the biological product of Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker. Little Rey starting at Luke's Academy must of started this whole mess, and pushed L.J.'s jealousy over the edge. And we all know how the dark side loves Skywalker anger and hated. That's my theory anyway. Thanks for reading!

Okay. I just heard them talk about the TLJ merch art and i'm surprised they didn't analyze it more. Poe: I don't notice anything abnormal. Maybe there's subtle details, but it's his X-Wing pilot outfit. No biggie and understandable they'd want him in that to be different than the other two and because everyone loves the helmet. Finn: Not unexpected, but nice to see he's got a new outfit under his jacket and isn't still wearing his stormtrooper black outfit that was so plain and boring. He'll have something typical of what we generally think of as rebel/smuggler wear. I find it odd that he's wearing the same jacket, as the back of it got sliced up. Even if it's not unique and he could get another one, why get the same one. What I would kind of like is a scene that indicates he's sentimental about it for the reason of it being his first actual possession and the first gift someone ever gave him. The background: I'm curious what the heck the red shapes are for. Star Wars merch traditionally has a star field background. TFA merch had a star field behind Kylo. Rogue One switched it up and gave a cool dark graphic representation of the trees and beach of Scariff. What's up with the red shapes? Just seems weird. Kind of reminds me of a checkered racing flag. Is Episode VIII going to have pod races? Just kidding. But, if it does, you heard it here first. It doesn't look bad, it's just weird. Rey: Rey is the one I find most interesting on this (Isn't she always?). Yeah, she let her hair down and apparently got it cut. Other than that... 1) She is holding the Skywalker family lightsaber. Not too surprising, but looks like it IS hers, now (because they're keeping it in the family). 2) She is wearing her Jakku rags again. This really surprises me and makes me wonder if this is all temporary box art and the final art may not be revealed until Force Friday, but they needed some kind of box art to announce it and get us excited. Really, look. Her arms clearly have the same wraps around them and she has the same leather wrist cuff on her left wrist. Her tunic looks basically the same, but dark instead of light. The shirt over the tunic looks to be her dessert rags, though the folds are laying in a way that makes me think this may possibly be a new piece that evokes the style of her rags but may be a hooded vest. Not quite sure. But the overall look is not end scene or new. The overall look is still her dessert rags and her arms are definitely her dessert wraps and cuff. I find this pretty strange. Why would she need to wear her dessert rags again, especially since she got something new and nicer that evoked the same visual theme? Lastly, I think it makes sense to show all three where the past art has just had a single villain. I don't think there's going to necessarily be a single throughline. I think each of these characters is going to basically go off on their own paths/adventures (that are, of course, connected in the end).

In a New Hope when Vader "killed" Obi wan Kenobi, Vader was obviously surprised at Kenobi's vanishing. After Vader swung his saber through Kenobi and he stepped and tapped his foot on Kenobi's robe, as if he was confused about this force power. I don't think the Sith know about the Netherworld as Yoda put it in TPM. Palpatine isn't and shouldn't make an appearance.

If you remember in Rogue One there was a scene when Bail Organa (SP) said he was going back home (Alderrain) to alert his adopted daughter to get off the planet to get the Death Star plans. It was a quick scene, when he said, I know someone who can help. Something like that. In a way Alderrain did play an important and tragic role in Rogue One, so I'm glad they actually didn't go to the planet.

three things i would of liked to have seen in rogue one were 1. alderaan - either bail organa leaving or arriving, 2. Bail having a conversation with leia with leia being a hologram rather than the flesh out cgi version which had its flaws and a cheesy ending. 3. we should of seen the droids boarding the tantive or one little scene of dialogue onboard it.

"The Last Jedi" has officially been translated here in Brazil by LucasFilm, finally...and it is a big deal, because we have plural differentiation for both "The" and "Last". The title in portuguese is "Os Últimos Jedi", reading Jedi as plural. So yep, Kristian was wrong all along saying it's ridiculous to think the title was referring to more than one Jedi. Because it is, actually. Collider need to see this haha

I'm not one to speculate too much and trying to figure things out before I see the movie (generally, I try to avoid anything beyond the first two trailers or teasers), but I'm currently re-reading the two main Star Wars comics from Marvel -- Star Wars and Dath Vader -- and when Thandie Newton's picture popped-up in the video, I imediately thought "SANA SOLO"! I was kinda surprised no one brought that up. She most certainly has the looks. Re: Shadows of the Empire, not only was there the Video Game, not only was there a great novel, BUT, there was an EXCELLENT SOUNDTRACK by composer Joel McNeely that felt very much like a Star Wars score (McNeely would be a perfect composer for any stand-alone Star Wars film or series as he already composed for 'The Young Indiana JOnes Chronicles)! I HIGHLY recommend that you guys check it out and read the book at the same time for added effect!

I would love it if they gave us a trilogy where the Sith are the protagonist of the movie. The Sith and their lore is so rich. In SWTOR the Sith Warrior (Emperor's Wrath) is by far my favorite story line with the Sith Inquisitor coming in a close 2nd. I think a movie or trilogy of movies like this would rank high for all SW fans.

Thandie Newton is great. Watch *Westworld* Kristian. She's amazing. As for *Rebels*, I'm really excited to see where they go with the Mandalorians. I sure hope it ties into Thrawn neatly (I sure hope Thrawn finally gets to *do something*). The only thing I didn't like about the last episode was how Sabine dominated Kanan during their practice duel. I get that her rage fueled assault took him by surprise, but he's a seasoned Jedi by this point. He should have been able to adapt quickly and maintain control of the match. There were ways they could have shown her getting better and venting her frustrations/insecurities w/o making Kanan look like a chump.

I'd love to see a live action movie based on or around Battlefront: Twilight Company. I've just read that novel and absolutely loved it and I would really like to see that ground level side of the war shown on film .
