Phillip island’s only an hour from my house and I ride it fairly often. I still find it an absolute fascinating place in such a humble setting compared to modern GP setups and I wouldn’t want to change it. It feels like real Gods country to ride a motorbike around

My crystal ball tells me .... Expect Marquez to be up front. Locals tell me it will possibly be wet for Sunday and Marc loves that - especially with new tarmac. Acosta quite possibly be a repeat of Motegi if he tries to make up for Motegi, but if not he will certainly be a factor for the win. Martin for the sprint and down the road in the GP. Besta just behind Jorge in the sprint and top 5 for the main. Pecco on the podium both races to regain points lead.

Guys, i hope so...Philip Island is my favourite track and there have been some epic races there. HOWEVER, I don't know if you saw BSB on the weekend but that's what motorbiking is all about. BSB is putting MotoGP to shame and something has to change. I'm a die-hard fan, I watch all the free-practices from Moto3 to MotoGP and its become boring! Ducati's dominance plays a part, some of the tracks play a part (theyre too safe) and the aero and FL style development has played a part. MotoGP is going like F1 and that's a huge turn off for me. Hopefully Philip Island will be a cracker its a brilliant circuit and i hope the title fight goes to Valencia. I'm very quickly moving over to BSB, where they really have 'got it right'

I think it's a bit sad that everybody are so busy turning Honda and Yamaha into to clones of Ducati and Aprillia. Yes,I haven't missed that the Japanese are in a lot problem's at the moment, but as far as I know, the NSR and RC211V wasn't designed by Italians. Maybe it's more about changing the rules so the bikes start looking and behaving like motorcycles instead of F1 cars.

Topic suggestion for upcoming podcast: Discuss how this last years change to concessions has gone. It hasn't seemed to have hurt Ducati. Even KTM's concessions hasn't seemed to hurt...Honda \ Yamaha how have they done with the significant concessions. Curious of your thoughts. Ducati has continued to dominate even when their competitors have concessions. It seems like the new concessions has worked out in the sense that no one has seemed to have made crazy progress to the determent of Ducati having a "disadvantage" compared to their competitors.

I'm pretty sure Aprilia will be racing behind at least one Japanese constructor next year. I can't think of anyone who makes worse professional decisions than Bezzecchi. He could have been riding a GP24 at Pramac this year, but gently declined it for Morbidelli's happiness. He could also has stayed at VR46 to ride a GP25 next year, but this time Diggia got a Christmas gift. He definitely has a broken picker.

Tbh I think our view on the competitiveness of the RSGP this year is a little skeewed. Cus theyve got a now injured Oliveira, Fernandez, a retiring and inconsistent Aleix Espargaro and Vinales(we all know what Mavericks like, inconsistent is an understatement for him). So I personally believe Aprilia will be less inconsistent next season, just due to the riders. Yeah they wont know the bike but although a rookie Oguras is pretty talented and will likely be the reigning Moto2 champ. Martin we can pretty much guarantee will deliver the best the bike has to offer and so long as Bez is happy with the front hell also be pretty good I believe. One thing to add to Bez, we saw that the flywheel change Ducati had done to the GP23 really helped him, despite the super grippy rear Michelin. So its not a given hell struggle with the same things he has, this year. Tbh its very unlikely hell have the same issues
