As Chris Wilkinson I remember your early articles and challenges including 100 maggots to catch 100lb of carp on Gold :D Good luck on the SERC qualifier at Bough Beech. I'm a recent convert back to natural open waters and the challenges they bring to the extent I have a ticket for the qualifier on the 23rd. Tight lines for Sunday

Will, I'm pretty sure you wasn't this calm about it at the time. The money involved and time spent preparing only to draw a peg that you probably would of won off only to later find out there is loads of cables in the water. To not even be told that they was in there is a massive mistake from the organisers.
