Kaos said on insta that he really didn’t want to go on stage for this one and only after speaking to syjo and some others did he decide to go out there (and put on an amazing show) even tho he didn’t feel 100% as he didn’t like the feeling of his music being judged with a sort of criteria which kinda overwhelmed him which is what most beatboxers feel like especially loopers because everyone is so good and it really just comes down to preference. Kaos said he will hold off on battles for now except Gbb. I wish I saved his insta story so I could quote him directly but that was the rough jist. Great reaction as always btw

I really appreciate this comment. Thanks so much for sharing some background info and for the kind words and support. He really put on a hell of a performance for deciding to go out there semi-last-minute. I'll appreciate his GBB rounds that much more now, knowing he's holding off on battling for a while.

I love both of them,but Kaos has for my opinion won.The second track "soundscape" from him,is the best what i ever heard from a looper for long time

Live, I felt like kaos was gonna win and I was really disappointed about that. Lennard made it into all our hearts that evening, we all wanted him to win as he made us jump like no other😅

Lennards sequencing for his first round was just unreal, go back and see how much was happening while he wasn’t touching the loop

Honestly, it's not that impressive anymore, almost all loopers are doing it these days. Raje didn't touch his loop for like 90 seconds which is the craziest thing i've ever seen on one device since even without touching his device, he pulled off arguably the greatest battle track on single device ever

29:08 that round of Lennard was Tensionblade, his 2023 wildcard for round 2. I think in that video sounds better because he did the mix himself or with someone that he knows

I’m with you on this one, thought Kaos took it based on the vid. His first round was old school kaos style super stylish but man that 2nd round was something special, unique, technical & just so sick 🤘I just found his rounds more interesting to listen to than Lennard’s. As you rightly mentioned tho, was likely different live and it certainly looked like Lennard won the crowd, and overall his energy & execution were top notch so no problem with him getting to the final at all, big ups to both they smashed it 👍

Going over time is defnitly way worse then having 30 sec left. Loopers plan their routine to have 30 sec left so they have time to do stuff again, if they f up. If you go over you ether fed up or have planed your time bad.

Ahh that makes sense leaving 30 seconds left in case something is off and you have to rerecord something. Thanks for sharing, this a great point!

The timer starts with 3:30, the 30 seconds are planned for preparation and mistakes. So its a -10/+30 second timezone where you can end your round pretty much, so no, it will not be judged. Just for clarification :) Really nice reaction tho, i like your opinions and it was a pleasure to watch, ty.

i think the track can be shorter, alot of loopers have like 20-30 seconds left after some tracks. gbb rules say you can finish with 30 seconds left i think

Also I don’t think you’ve reacted to gbb wildcard winners yet some new guys going insane especially raje who I really like who was in the crowd for this event
