Will Reaper ever get BUFFED?

They've given some heroes completely unneeded buffs but it's like our boy reaper doesn't exist to them.

Reaper dominates the low ranks so when blizz looks at stats it probably evens out at 50% with how weak he is in the high ranks so he looks balanced lol.

@@carston855 yeah they should definitely stop balancing on the win rates alone, it really isn't a good representation of how heroes do across the board. I don't see any reaper buffs in the season 8 balance update either... at least tracer might be more playable now.

Just make his TP a little faster and not so easily telegraphed: (The placement marker for TP only visible to you and your team, that way you can actually materialize upward out of the ground without giving away your positioning before you're even able to act.) Not only would this make Reaper an actual psychological terror by appearing out of the ether with no warning, but it would make it way more difficult for enemies to pinpoint your TP location if using the ability to escape. Reaper is supposed to be an assassin, his power should be in the mental disruption he can place on a team by terrorizing the backline with unpredictable flanking, forcing the enemy to partition their focus away from the fight. Having a more consistent way for Reaper to bait enemy abilities and attention will create more opportunities for your team to act on possible. Make the skill of Reaper dependant on one's timing and game sense and play more into his rouge-like characteristics of trickery and stealth.

Reaper underperforming since OW2 Launch VS D.VA who get 3 buffs in 3 different patch, Bastion who get 8 buffs in 1 update and Sojourn who was unbalanced and get a "nerf" (she's even stronger since season 2)

i kinda like the idea of a commit-blink instead of the old tp, like a channeled L.O.S you projectile or something which if hit tp's you to the enemy. something is def missing from his kit

reaper issue is that he's extremely devastatingly one-sided against all the tanks (save jq) and against every non-tank it's a severe uphill battle quite a nightmare to balance this guy

Reaper should have some kind of channeled ability that lets him temporarily ignore damage reduction effects. So he'd still do full damage through armor and Fortify, making him the ultimate Tank killer.

The excuse is that they're worried about trashcan ELOs becoming nothing but Reaper stomps; meanwhile heroes such as Cass and DVA can stomp just fine. Thing is his kit is becoming slowly outdated and clunky with new heroes and ability reworks countering what he needs to do.

to be honest alot of other heroes have his kit but better. kiriko has his tp but its instant and can travel through walls. while it does need a teammates its still super op. reaper's wraith form can be easily countered and anyone who has a little bit of game sense knows when you're gonna pop out of it and it also doesn't prove that much of a speed boost. his damage is pretty decent but long range hes literally just a sitting suck. i definitely think he deserves a buff or a rework of some sorts because most of the roster counters him and his ult. his ult can get good value but thats if you make sure that every cc in the game has been used so you dont get cc'd and railed to death.

also torb is basically a better reaper other than not having his self-healing. he has a turret which is free damage. over drive gives him extra health and makes him shoot way faster. a shotgun thats WAY stronger than reaper's AND a long range alt fire.

take sombras tp speed and give it to reaper, make wraith form a bit faster, give him 15m of range (same as jqs) and give him 2 extra bullets. buff his self heal up to 50% (same as mauga) and i think he will be good. not too op as anything with any sort of range will absolutely wreck but good up close
