​@@wesleywhite4782 He really just had the one very bad game against the Packers. If I remember right it was game 2 or 3 of the season. The kid was a rookie, it was a close game and he was playing for a head coach that hates kickers. After he missed the first FG I think the pressure just got to him. The problem was Zim was to quick to cut him and Carlson had no track record of being good because he was a rookie.

​@@laudanum669I agree it was too soon to outright cut the kid, but it was a home game against a heated rival. Carlson had 3 opportunities to win the game and he missed every single kick. I think they were fairly easy distances too.

I know the knock on this kid is that he doesn't have a super strong leg. As I'm a Vikings fan all I'm asking is make the kicks you are suppose to make and make 99% of the extra points. It drove me NUTS that Joseph had such a hard time making XPAT's.

nah man i think he has a strong leg look at those last two kicks.. maybe he didn’t have a strong leg 2 years ago but he’s progressively gotten better at kicking as the videos went on. And he’s only gonna refine it more
