Same drill, same issue…bought mine in 2013, registered it properly, filed a claim, they sent fedex box, shipped it off, and had the newest model in 2 weeks. Had easier experience with batteries. I think ridgid banks on 98% of people buying them, not registering and not being in the lsa…as most people who buy ridgid arent pros, looking for something cheaper.

have they since gotten back to you? I made a video not too long ago with the lsa covering a digital tire inflator. Seemed pretty straight forward. assuming all future LSA claims I file (should something go wrong) go the same way, ridgid seems solid.

@@TOOL_TECHNICAL yes, they sent me a new drill and it was even the high torque model. I didn’t do a follow-up video due to lack of interest. In hindsight, I should have done the follow-up video.

@averagejoevideo9556 yeah I had to do a follow-up many people really don't believe the lsa. I'm glad to hear ridgid really hooked you up there. I hope you went back within 30 days and registered your new drill for the lsa. If you go to the dashboard and click register, there should've been 2 options: register new tool and register replacement 👍🏼 Ridgid "build for a lifetime"

I am not sure. Many people have indicated that Ridgid does not stand behind their LSA. Time will tell. Thanks for watching! Please like and subscribe to see the end result of the claim.
