I listened to odyssey growing up in the 80s and 90s. I am a doordash driver now and I needed something to listen to so I subscribed to the odyssey app. It's been great listening to the old stuff and the new stuff. I even listened to it while on a road trip from Oregon to texas (got a change to visit the focus on the family and Odyssey center in Colorado Springs). I didn't find out that Will Ryan had passed away until a few months ago. So sorry to hear, him and Hal Smith were a couple of my favorite actors on Odyssey.

Yeah. They were both pretty good actors. So was Paul Hirlinger. He was the second voice of Witt in case you didn’t know that. You probably knew that, but I was just making sure you did.

I'm going to be 23 in 5 days and I still can't believe we lost one of the best characters from AIO. Will was ALSO the voice of Petrie from Land before time, the duck brothers from Courage the cowardly dog & Harold the seahorse from the little mermaid. Rest in peace.

The movie "An American Tail" It had both Will Ryan and Hal Smith (Old voice of John Avery Whittaker) in it. Will Ryan did Digit the bug who counted coins for Warren T. Rat. Hal Smith was Moe the rat who ran the sweatshop that Fievel was given to by Warren.

He was also the voice of Peg Leg Pete from 1983 until 1992, but returns to voicing Pete as an extra in 2013 short Get a Horse! And the voice of Willie the Giant from 1983 all the way until his passing

Yesterday I was at work, and I hadn't listened to odyssey in months. I had just never got around to it. I think the last episode I had listened to, was the episode with penny getting some things from DR. Trasks estate, that was the last one I listened too. So I went to the same album and I started listing to the best is yet to come, and I listened to all 4 parts, and I hadn't cried up until the point I heard Connie and Whit just crying in whits office, and that just broke me. I had to take a break and i went into the bathroom and so bed for about 5 minutes, and people were asking what the matter was, and all I could think was, it's stupid to cry over a fictional character leaving, but I loved him. Sad to see him gone. Thanks Will.

The sad part about his death is that he has been on this show since 1987 in the second episode. He played several major characters for almost just as long.

Just found out. He was one of my favorite voice actors of all time. I only found out about his death because Earl Boen (DR. Regis Blackgaard) died yesterday and I wanted to check on how Will Ryan was doing. Now I'm double sad 😥

My two children grew up listening to Adventures In Odyssy back in the late 80's and 90's. Now, in 2023, I still listen to it every evening. Had no idea Will Ryan had passed and when I read all his credits, I was astonished.

The show won't be the same without him. The history and interaction he had with Whit, Connie and even the imagine station is huge. He was missed when he left because of novacom. After Whit no longer being a lead role thought Connie and Eugene were taking the show. 😢 loved his volcabulary and personailty 😊. Hard to believe it has come to a end.
