Evo VIII 260, you can tell by the sharks fin covering the holes where the low level spoiler centre mount was. Also hole in the front bumper where the longer UK number plate was mounted. Wider Recaros, Speedo has mph printed not a sticker covering the original kph. They also have more crash structure behind the front bumper so it's slightly more heavy. 260s were actually putting out 282 bhp as standard.

Ricky get an EVO! Honestly I had a 5 and nothing i ever drove and I mean nothing came close to it on a B road, perfect fast road/ track project car. As for the comment about rust every single EVO can suffer badly with it I've seen some worse 8, 9 and even 10's as I have 5 and 6's. Just got to be careful, fresh import best way to go. Owned my IX for 3 and half years now and don't think I ever want to get rid of it! It's cost me an arm and a leg to run as a daily mind you, but it's worth it! Recently put Ohlins on mine and my God it has made a massive difference to the handling!

Evos... one of two cars that I've been for a drive in and immediately said that one day I'll have one. The other was a 205 GTI back in 1993. Now the happy owner of both. BTW an engine built by Norris Designs will be spot on for power and comes with warranty! Probably the best Evo tuner in the business.
