Great collection! Nice to hear Thomas Allander being mentioned again, my first encounter with the ukulele was through a tv series he hosted many years ago.

Fantastic filming... when you threw up the first Uke I held my breath.🤣😂😅 I just have to get myself the chord changer... It would make the world of difference to my playing.😁

I love these 'collection' uploads. Many thanks. Andf as I've commented before - if you haven't ever seen Will's book 'Let's get plucky with the ukulele' check it out (especially the first version which was a MUCH better binding). It's a great insight into ukes, players, history and - of course - Will's suggestions for playing.

It's not very expensive. It's just a tenner. LOL . Loved hearing them played at the end.

Loved it. I carry my uke around the house & strum & play songs. I had a uke when I was a child & carried it around playing wherever. I think I’m inspired to add to my pitifully humble collection. Be safe. 👍☮️🌞🦠🪕

Great array of ukuleles! The best bit hearing them played! Btw, where did you get the 1 button chord maker as I know someone who is disabled and would love it so she can strum along with the group? - the D'Ukes of Longbarn, Warrington.

So the last one would be an autolele? Or an autoharpelele? An autouke? I should stop before I get to autopuke. TOO LATE!
@winny12034 жыл бұрын
Hey Will, a suggestion for ya for next time. When you pull out your first 2 Ukes here, before you get to the specifics of the make (like the iUke), how about identifying what kind of Uke it is. LIKE, “this is a micro Uke”, OR “this is a sopranissimo Uke”. Aside from perhaps playing 3 or 4 chords on it. VERY dissapointing, Will. And thus, thumbs down for this.
