Wilson definitely has more talent and a higher ceiling than Stidham. I wonder if SP wants Stid around because of his familiarity with the offense and being able to help Bo learn.

Still think the league needs to increase the roster size. Longer season, faster and stronger league injuries off the chart.

i would trade stidham and use his money to maybe extend wilson for a couple more years. not sure what the point of either of them is as both free agents next year

I might trade Stidham also. It would be for a a very solid interior defensive lineman or a quality wideout with plenty of speed. There are plenty of teams who want a QB like Stidham and at some point in the season be ready to make the trade for a good QB. After all Stidham thinks he is a starter.

Zach has def improved but you can tell he still has a long way to go. He holds onto the ball a long time and makes some poor decisions still. It think he'll improve but I don't think he's better than Stidham to be honest (right now). More potential than Stiddy for sure but right now Stidham still makes the right decisions more often than Zach imo.

Yeah as much as I love how his arm looked yesterday, he had some insanely clean pockets. And even with that he still had some noticeable blunders under pressure That said the Broncos are probably not a playoff team and should be leaning towards upside rather than low ceiling ship steadiers like Stidham

There's just no way people are hyping up Zach Wilson this much 😂😂. Did yall forget the last few years?? Has he looked a little better against 3rd string defenses? Yeah. He's also had a few good games in regular season games with the Jets. But he's inconsistent, holds the ball wayy too long, and throws into coverage too much. As great as Payton is, it's impossible to turn Zach around this fast. Personally I don't like either of our backups but if I had to choose one it'd be Stidham especially for short term

Stidham wouls be the worst option at backup even if he was the only backup in the entire league. Wilson makes much better decisions, and if Nix goes down, Wilson will have a clean pocket a lot more than he did with the 3rds. Wilson is also a better leader, better example for Nix, and has a higher football IQ than Stidham and more experience, so again is far better for helping Nix grow. Wilson can win you games, Stidham you have to have every player have their best game to over come Stidham's bad play and to overcome Stidham's lack of knowledge of the playbook

It isn't even close to a hard decision. Who can go in and be steady and win you a game? Wilson, not Stidham. Who is a better leader? Wilson, not Stidham. Who understands the playbook more? Wilson, not Stidham. Who makes more right and correct decisions? Wilson, not Stidham. Who runs the offense more efficiently? Wilson, not Stidham. Who has more accuracy? Wilson, not Stidham. Who can steady the ship for a quarter? Wilson, not Stidham. Who is more trustworthy? Wilson, not Stidham.

Actually, I equate Zach Wilson with Drew Lock; a big arm but not the head to be an adequate NFL QB.
