Anime showdown can’t keep up with aba when it comes to updates anime show down is to high quality unlike aba that has 158 characters axs has below 20 so they can’t just reskin a few already made moves and just make a few new ones and call it a new character like aba does. not saying anime showdown would have still died if it was still being updated but it definitely wouldn’t have kept up with aba updates

@@Dirtymutiehater aba combat is perfectly fine, it has all the basics honed down to a crisp, it has nothing excess and nothing missing unlike these games like anime showdown where its a whole ass clutter of unnecessary combat "features" and these over-done effects and animations for literal basic slashes, these things will eventually wear down the player base cuz nobody can handle overstimulation for long periods of time combine that with lack of communication and no significant updates and youve got yourself a combo that got anime showdown killed TWICE already while aba sits on top of every other game unbeaten cuz of its simplicity and genuine replayability

SU won’t be able to kill ABA we’ve seen time and time again games coming out being called the “ABA killer”. Hopefully SU doesn’t die out like AxS did with no consistent updates or have very late balancing, if it becomes successful it’ll be up there but not ABA level I do hope it’ll make competition between them so the devs can lock in. Honestly, at first when I first started playing, I thought the controls were kind of wonky, but after getting used to it is pretty good then again I have 200 elo So like I don’t know and I’ve spent money on this game via private server, so then again I kinda had time to practice with my friends and learn the controls

In my personal opinion. AnimeShowdown was the best "ABA-LIKE" it looks even better than this being honest with you.. this looks very childist the effects,the gui, the numbers when you attack is all very fancy, AxS just had a very bad update system and like 8 characters max but being honest with you i dont think this is better than AxS but i dont wanna speak that much before playing the game lest see how it is, maybe it surprise me but for now this aint better than AxS at least for me.
