Wow! Hemanth expresses his thoughts with such clarity. Very good interview. Rakshit, Dhanush, Fahadh, and other such actors inspire good stories in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema, but our Telugu actors tend to prioritize stardom over breaking cinematic molds. Our Telugu actors quickly adopt star screen names immediately after their first hit rather than giving us good movies. There's a space for an actor and filmmaker like Rakshit Shetty in Telugu, I don't know whose gonna fill that void.

thats the difference in such young generation actors now compared to veterans.. if it was not Rakshith/Raj/Rishabh shetty etc others would have made 5-10movies by now. Look at old actors in their initial years.. they made 5-10movies per year where as Rakshith/R/R made 4-5 movies in 10years. Hats off for their dedication.

I’m telling this from personal experience, if you are going through a heartbreak, depression or any sort of mental breakdown, stay away from this gem of a movie. I never knew about the premise and gave it a try. I’m still not able to come out it. This movie is too close to reality and to top that, the performances are super realistic, especially the heroine role, brilliantly played by Rukmini Vasanth. I don’t have the heart to watch Side B. I just want Manu and Priya to reunite in the sequel.

Rakshit Shetty has 2 sets of audience. The family audience who watch - Charlie, Kirik Party! Etc. There is a set of Mass audience watching - Ulidavaru Kandante, Avne shrimannarayana etc. Now SSE - first part is for class/ family audience, where you see gentle lover boy & scared Rakshit who is endearing. it’s more of a elaborated teaser for the bigger amazing, rough, ruthless gangster Rakshit opening in the next ultimate revenge drama that’s gonna be having hooting, cheering & whistling by his mass audience who cannot wait for Rakshit to get his revenge. I can bet all the ones who did not go to “watch a gentle love story” will now be warned about what’s coming up in next part & both the audience will now flock The theatres!! What a mind blowing strategy this is !!! Salute!!
