Before I was saved I had a void in my life that I thought I could fill on my own, my way did not work, once I found God, he filled that void and now every day, life has meaning to me, that is to do the will of my father and to fight through this life so I can have everlasting life in heaven with him.

The living water is free. Praise Jesus. When I was suffering from herniated discs after a failed spinal surgery, I was bedridden for 7 weeks crying in pain. I had to crawl to the bathroom. My family abandoned me, I had no one, but I said, "God, I have faith. You'll see me through this. My life is I your hands, and I know you got me." Although I was in extreme pain, he took care of all my needs and brought the right people and doctors in my life. Even financially, he provided for me. Even though I suffered, I had an inner peace and sense of well-being. I am so grateful. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.

Like the old song used to say, "There's a God shaped hole in all of us." I've spent my life trying to fill it with anything else but God. I was a Christian, but decided to rebell, and I didn't try to grow in Him. I tried filling that hole with relationships, drugs, alcohol, sex, buying stuff... the list goes on! Until I got back to my roots and realized that nothing could ever fill that empty hole but GOD, and I was NEVER going to be happy without Him, that's when my life was truly changed! The only way to Him, is to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and repent and turn away from my sins. I've been so much happier now that I turned my heart and life back over to Him!🙌🙌🙏🏻🙏🏻❤❤

Ya'll ever find it really hard to try remember how you got through life BEFORE Christ? Happiness is and will always be fleeting. Joy is the goal. The joy found in Jesus is what sustains in the good and the bad. Joy is internal based on a relationship with Jesus, happiness is external and based on things and feelings

Will talks about generating "happy" from within (from the mind and heart) But the heart is deceitful above all things. And we need a spiritual source from which to draw a happy mind and overall being. This can be truly found nowhere else but with God. Rhetoric can sound motivational and good, but it's not the true and lasting answer.

"Spiritual source" is where people like Will have lost themselves and their footing. Will has done everything he can think of "spiritually" to no avail. Every yoga pose, chant, meditation, spirit guide, spiritual practice except profess and believe in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ... it's amazing how people will avoid something that seems so simple.

If you re-read me, I specified the One and true God--as opposed to idolatry of the self. I don't use Source as His name. But God is biblically a Spirit. There is no way to reconciliation with the the Father but through Christ Jesus our Lord. No "New Age" or any other false doctrine do I promote. Blessings in Christ. 🙏

@@lulubird8636 Okay. Thank you sister for clearing that up. Yes, I agree; "a higher power" of some sort isn't going to do it. That's so ambiguous. This doctrine is taught in A.A. (alcoholics anonymous). How about people who say to others, "Go to your god, whatever that looks like for you." I think that professing Christians who speak like this (instead of witnessing the Gospel) will also be held accountable.

I’ve had friends or really acquaintances that were so wealthy that they truly did not trust anyone around them. It was very SAD. One lady I knew was so out of it…she left her purse and I ran to take it to her and NO ONE would genuinely assist her getting to her chauffeur and car. I made sure she did but I was furious with her “FRIENDS” for NOT walking with her. I still pray for her even today. Please 🙏🏽 brethren pray for Linn.

This is simply what happens when you amass all the wealth, resources, and money this world has to offer, yet have no one around you that cares about your SOUL, because absolutely every person, family or otherwise, even down to your "wife" has only viewed you through the lens of what they stand to gain from you or your status..he has never experienced unconditional love, and poor thing doesn't even have a fraction of the happiness he's sitting there trying to explain..you can see in his eyes how fractured and traumatized his soul is..pray for him the way you would want prayer if it was your father, your uncle, your cousin, your brother, your friend..God can turn any heart and save ANY soul..lest we forget a man named, Paul.

I've only been born again for about 2 1/2 years and so greatful for being saved. Thy Holy Spirit has taught me happiness is just temporary but joyfulness is everlasting. And when you can praise Lord Jesus Christ through the good and bad times no matter what is going on and coming your way in your life. You are at peace and builds up my faith. One verses that always comes to my spirit is my ways and thoughts are not Thy Heavenly Father ways and thoughts. I may not understand why I'm going through something but I know I have nothing to fear and worry about because my Lord has it all under control and always works out in the end and makes so my sense why I experience this season. Always remember only are creator knows us and knows exactly what we need, he will always provide your needs not your wants. God bless everyone and stay strong and faithful when your experiencing something in your mind isn't going your way. I promise you it will always work out and makes so much sense later.
