Hi Gerald! I understand what you're saying about "positive lyrics" coupled with "devilry scenery"!! And yes.....that probably is the best the music industry can do!!! Gone are the days when Gospel artists & Gospel music segments on those shows were respected!!! They certainly seemed to revere God's presence & Godly lyrics!! What I don't agree with you on are the warnings the Church received in the late 90's/early 2000's. Many Pastors spoke out, but alot of them did not have large platforms!!! In addition, have you ever heard of Pastor G. Craige Lewis??!! You talk about a Trumpet in Zion!! He started exposing & revealing the truth about HipHop, R&B, Gospel, Rock, etc. over 2 decades ago!!!! His entire series (on 14 DVD''s now) started in 2002!! It is soooooo in depth! You really have to see it!! And he revealed either in an interview or on one of the DVD's (I forgot which) that TBN (I believe Paul Crouch) did not want him preaching that Message; back in the 2000's!!! My opinion: I think it was a secular inspirational song. I don’t think it was demonic but it wasn’t gospel neither. Gospel glorifies God and not ourselves. Kirk sure said that, if you think gospel music has gone too far… People think when they see Kirk in a video that means it’s gospel but, Kirk does not represent the gospel. Kirk is very much secular himself. Stopped buying his music years ago.

Great video, sir! I must admit, I don't watch ANY awards show, nor have I seen the video of this performance. I will say this, Kirk hasn't made a Gospel album since his first album. It's as if he poured EVERYTHING he had into that one project, and didn't return to the well. Extremely unfortunate. Now, for him to remain relevant, he teams up with whomever will have him. "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20 KJV I'm sure Kirk knows many true Believers who understand Scripture and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, stopped following him a LONG TIME AGO. I enjoyed the performance as well and it does seem to give encouragement; but the book of Isaiah speaks of God giving us Beauty for our Ashes. Also I thought the red could signify the redemptive work of the cross he has a new garment instead of mourning; he is wearing the garment of praise. He also stated at the very end "dance in the darkness". Praise Dancers usually refer to that verse in liturgical dance; so it resignated with me from that aspect. However, I do know the Anti-Christ will unite religions because the beast will desire to be worshipped so this could also be signifying the combining of Scientology and Christian theology. I see a two-edged sword in this case. If the artistic director would have brought out the actual Bible verse and liturgical dancers with angel wings and a more lighted scene at the end it would have been a bit more towards the glory of Christ. I wish there would have been a visual set change at the end that would have changed his garments to white, crystal hues, and blues and vivid greens and torqoise at the end it would have better visually shown the change we take on when we become new creatures in Christ. Also I may need to listen again but I did not hear any mention of Jesus Christ name at all in the song; which is a key signifier for an interfaith worship song. The entire world probably going to be playing this song and singing along; because it does encourage and the world is headed toward www3 it definitely gave apocalyptic vibes dark horse red horse vibes; however; there is no reference at the end to the redemptive work of the cross. As a praise dancer I pay attention to stories and images so I would say Great song of encouragement, but it does not point to Jesus as the source of the hope of my faith but it is uplifting. Will is an encourager and he does pride himself on being the source of his own joy even in a world of turmoil all around him. Also many people with witnesses of Hell say they have seen rings of fire there. Also a ring of fire can represent a volcano. Please see the Mauai movie with the Roc and recent incident in Hawaii with the fires. Could be a fire ceremony for anticrist who likes to mimic God whose person can be represented by fire. Also fire in the Bible represents trials, glory and power of God, also the persecution of the saints who will come out as pure gold. There were references in the music to persecution and the forging of faith as well. So he isn't saying one way or the other. It's a bit lukewarm and encouraging at same time.

I think this is a very, very good summation of the performance. I really enjoyed it, and many of the words resonated with what im going thru now. I even cried a bit and felt comfort, knowing that God would help me thru this time. So, I had a positive feeling after watching the video. However, I also understand there may be hidden symbols that do not align with God's word. Anyway, for me, I will take it for what it is at first glance and be happy that it gave me hope🙏

His song was joyous, Glorifying God. I was also blessed to attend a church that had dancing for young people. They did not have to go to a club to enjoy Dancing to secular music. The Holy Catholic Church would sponsor different fun events. Thank God for good-sounding Music with a positive message.

A ring of fire is also associated with trials. The Bible speaks about God refining us like silver in the fires of affliction. And, it sounds to me like that's what Will is singing about; however, I need to read all of the lyrics to better assess his intent. We are unable to judge the heart, only God can do that. We are, however, able to judge someone by their fruits and by whom they associate with. The listener gets the distinct impression that Will is prideful in his pursuit of a comeback against the odds; and his associating with godless folk significantly detracts from his positive message.

I don't believe him. The line where he said, "if God is real......" clarify his version of what he believes. The word says we are not to be luke warm believers. Either he believes in the one true God, the Father of Jesus Christ, then I must judge on the side of the word of truth about the performances and the entire program. The word of God is placed inside of all us, but the grace of God is project out for others to see Him. This does not show God’s glory to convert or convict others to repent and turn to Him.
