i lived in la and the will smith thing was a known thing that nobody was supposed to speak about but everybody knew. that was over 15 years ago that i first went out there and it was known, when the rest of the world still saw will and jada as couples goals. i remember that being one of the first things that pulled the curtains back on the fact that la is like an alternate universe. NOTHING is as it seems out there. i remember calling home and telling my parents and they were shocked. that was the first of many things i saw. the shock soon wore off. it just turned into "oh, it's a hollywood thing" vs real life. it's when i realized that we live in a real life horror movie; satanists, sacrifices and rituals etc. life is indeed spiritual.
