Gyroflow looks complicated but if you use the lens profiles that others made it is very easy to stabilize. I love using gyroflow with my 7artisans 35mm f0.95 prime lens. Sometimes I don't even have to crop in, I just use the repeat edge pixels and add some feathers on the edges and gets the job done. Also the processing time is very fast. But it's tricky to use with a zoom lens if there are no presets available for that lens in that focal length. I was shooting with sigma 18 50 f2.8 @37 insh focal length but there was no profile for 37mm. I find it tricky (lazy) to make a lens profile myself

I use generative AI daily (mostly via chatbots) and it's very very useful for a lot of things. I agree that gen AI for image/video is probably a good replacement for a lot of stock footage but there's something about the current generation of image/video generators that just make me dizzy and almost sick looking at. I've heard other's say the same thing. Maybe it's because it looks very similar to regular photography but not quite and you get into this uncanny valley. I wonder if they will ever figure out how to get passed this barrier. Of course, it doesn't seem ti bother most folks so we're only going to see these being used more.

i DON'T HAVE A CAMERA . I am just lonely and like the sound of your voice. Didn't understand anything and I thought what am I doing until you spoke to my heart about STOCK FOOTAGE. I ...KING hate stock footage it is so cheesey. Also that camera angle change that everyone uses that looks like they are suddenly ignoring you and talking to someone else. What's that all about? Also loved your point on AI. You speak my heart. There is now a tidal wave of free AI software that is like "Hey you. You lazy right ? You have no artistic talent and no imagination , but you wanna make great content right? Well you can . Just a voice prompt and you can have a thexy gull with whatever accent you like get all thexy and interesting about anything , even if you know nothing about it and you can make crap loads of money and get your ego licked at the same time all for free (They cant see the small print This will feed the AI till it's fed up and you are no longer needed and can be disposed of) . Nothing from these companies is free, but these dumb greedy myopic narcissists by being incapable of grasping this concept will be resposible for the extinction of true art, leveling the plane field . The users of these tools wont be smiling when they have "a boot stomping on their face forever" and they will drag the rest of us into the ism of commune. Having bigfoot or UFOS chasing you is cool and amusing , but having total AI DRIVEN CONTENT THAT SOON WILL BE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM HUMAN CONTENT IS NOT.

there was an article saying generating AI image is like charging 25% of a phone in energy requirements. So in a vid it should be multiplied and stack to bigger numbers quickly (even if there's a better ratio similar to how compressing vids is more efficient compared to individual images due to repeated data frame to frame). And then you run into problems of having to re-run this to get what you need. Video stocks may end up more cost efficient (because they use "free renderer" of the real world and are predictable).

Those really in trouble are professional writers. With directors' input and AI helping out their dumb asses they'll be able to write stuff whitout *needing* writers. Even though it'll be a shitty script, it will eventually get better (AI) at writing, trade unions being left as a strong line of defense. Thing is, most won't lose their jobs, few will when they wouldn't otherwise.
