Will Super Bowl weekend be the start of the spring market?

The market typically starts the year off pretty slow. I thought that with the extremely low inventory we might see the market pick up and get out of the slow winter market a little earlier than usual. That has proven to not be the case. So, we are at an interesting time in our market cycle. We usually see the “spring market” start to take shape once we get passed the Super Bowl weekend. It will be interesting to see what happens in our market over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime I think it is important to note the small sample size averages do not clearly define reality, it is essential to take each home into consideration individually when thinking about the price either as the seller or the buyer.
