If ASU loses it's not bc they're 1 dimensional...it's bc UT wins in the trenches - meaning 5-7yds per rush consistently + pressuring the QB (sacks less relevant need to speed him up). It’s a mismatch on paper for Texas as they have huge advantages on paper over ASU. They have bigger, stronger and faster guys than ASU in multiple spots. The problem is that Texas can beat themselves with turnovers and penalties. If they play a clean game, Texas rolls. If they can’t, ASU will win.

Cams stats are more than the top 3 RBs at UT combined. What is super interesting is that both had Played Mis. State at home and both beat them one by 18 point difference UT other by 7 point difference ASU. ASU played 5 top 20 teams in reg season and UT played 6. UT QB passing only a couple hundred yards more than ASUs QB 383 rushing yards and UT QB -63 yards. This should be a great game based on stats! I am going to go with ASU in upset!

The Texas QB missed a few games though. After what we saw Penn State (14th rushing D) do against Ashton Jeanty (who has 2600 yards on the season), I’m not seeing how Skattebo (1600 yards on the season) is not neutralized by Texas (12th rushing D). This Texas is not that different from the Texas that held 1700-yard Ollie Gordon to 34 yards in the Big 12 championship last year. ASU will have to win this through the air and I don’t see it being enough.

I really don’t get analysis here. Look at the pass rankings of the offenses Texas played this season. They played some of the worst passing teams in college.
