The screw in pin definately needs a spot on the knife itself for storage. Maybe a tapped.out hole somewhere on the blade or even better , a screw hole that allows the pin to sit flush in the handle area.

Great scenario! You had to mention not having your fixed blade. I've never been a fan of such monstrous folders, but that knife would be a nice alternative. The locking pin makes all the difference. Artisan Cutlery should appreciate the crap out of you for making this video presentation of their knife in a survival situation. You won’t find a more interesting, entertaining and dramatic knife demonstration on KZbin. Not your run of the mill typical fact filled presentation. The knife is in amazing shape. I was going to do a follow up video but I can't get the pivot screw disassembled. It's not damaged, but I think it's locktighted and I can't get the scales off. But the knife is basically perfect with some minor blade play, but I do think if I was able to disassemble it and reassemble it then I would get all the tightness back the way I need. Action is spot on and the lockup is sound. Centering flawless...and the steel is almost factory perfect. It's shocking actually...I could almost sell this knife as like new.

@psycowookie Жыл бұрын
I had the same problem with my proponent until I figured out the problem! This is crazy and they should have definitely told the people buying this knife. The side of the pivot with the "slot" for the straight edge screwdriver is a D shaped pivot ON THE INSIDE! It will not turn lol! Trust me get a very fine edged driver and try the pivot side with the Artisan design and it'll unscrew! I hope this helps! I felt like such an idiot when I finally figured this out ha ha.

Instead of spending all that time chopping that wood into usable size, those branches could just be wedged between two trees, or a tree root, or even some boulders and pushed/pulled broken into smaller sizes. Any dry wood, in lengths of 10 feet or so can be effectively "chopped" up in this manner. Using a knife (any knife) for this purpose is rediculous. The Proponent is much more useful in the splitting of the wood to expose the dry inner wood.

The bible says that even the animals will turn against man in the last days. People running for the mountains will simply become animal fodder! The best course of action is become a believer upon Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4 & Eph 2:8-9) and escape (Rev 3:10, John 14:1-4, 1Thes 4:13-18) through the rapture what is to come.

Oregon Bushcraft & outdoor channel That’s what I tell people too. When we die, it’s only our bodies that die. We are eternal spirits that inhabit these bodies. We all live forever whether we are ready for it or not. We have the time that we’re here in our bodies to realize who and what we are and what this life is about. There’s only one way to the Father and that’s through Jesus. Otherwise, you live eternally without God, and if people knew what that entails, they wouldn’t want it. It’s a choice and we make it one way or another. Understanding and knowing who and what we really are and who made us and what He has for us all starts with a simple prayer. This life here is short and these bodies are like hour glasses that only last so long. No one can stop their body from dying, but we can be made right with God ensuring we have a place with Him eternally where real life as it should be starts.

Oregon Bushcraft & outdoor channel It seems the full meaning of prophetic scripture is understood more clearly after it’s fulfilled. This may be one of those cases. What is a coronavirus? Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that cause disease in animals. Seven, including the new virus, have made the jump to humans, but most just cause cold-like symptoms. Two other coronaviruses - Middle East respiratory syndrome (Mers) and severe acute respiratory syndrome (Sars) - are much more severe, having killed more than 1,500 people between them since 2002. The new virus, officially called Covid-19, is also dangerous - so far, around 20 per cent of confirmed cases have been classed as severe or critical. So far, around 15 to 20 per cent of hospital cases have been classed as "severe" and the current death rate varies between 0.7 per cent and 3.4 per cent depending on the location and, crucially, access to good hospital care. This is much lower than fatality rates for Mers (30 per cent) and Sars (10 per cent), but still a significant threat. Scientists in China believe that Covid-19 has mutated into two strains, one more aggressive than the other, which could make developing a vaccine more complicated. It made the jump to humansfrom where it started, in animals.

I like the video idea but you showed that on that knife can save u in a day's worth but you should make a follow up or at the end of that video show the sharpness on a page or something thag edge could have been beat to hell therefore could have been a gorrible shtf knife, and pls we know it's a parody kinda of shtf because your just focusing on what the knife can do but the heavy breathing that was way too much man I would put more humour j took it and you will shine at the end instead of being super scared say something like damn their killing my chickens!!!! Or. J do t know. J thin NK k h would gain alot. More that wag just my opinion!

This dude has been out of breath the entire 1/2 hour video, I felt like throwing him an inhaler or something. Whaddya smoke like 3 packs of Marlboro's a day? Nice beating on the knife review, but you need to work on the cardio before the SHTF, just sayin'

Yeah, there's no way I'd spend the average price of $200 on such an ugly piece of steel...especially when the Osprey is only $53 on the knifecenter website.

You can also get $200 versions of the Osprey. Or the Proponent for $60. It just depends which version you buy.
