How baby looks like Mom or Dad, if baby born donor sperm how many chances it looks like Mom ?

My son and wife sought out IVF after trying to conceive naturally. The IVF was not successful so they are considering an egg donor. But to my horror, my daughter-in-law said, to be fair, they will seek after a sperm donor as well. She said since the baby will not have any of her genetic material then she only thinks it fair to not use her husband’s perm but to seek out a donor. This has caused a heated discussion in our family. Please give your opinion. Thank you

Use husband sperm any carry your baby. Carry baby is best part, it will be blood connection.

I agree with the wife. No way in hell would I allow my husband to have kids with another woman egg. If her genes won't continue so should his. Why should they man genes and DNA continue?

@@Braidreels She's not. I am very fertile thank God. But I'd reject any child born to my husband with another woman's DNA . Why should his genes continue? I would prefer to go childless or adopt . Egg donation is not a benefit for most women. Simple.
