@@coachbronco It took Josh Allen until his 3rd season in the NFL to reach the level where Bo Nix is playing right now. THAT is the real value of this 2024 season. Anything after that is gravy. That said, we have only seen Bo Nix operating with the full Sean Payton playbook for about 7 or 8 weeks. Up until the first Chief's game Sean had him on a short leash. What we're seeing now is a team since game 11 that is averaging 32 points a game. Prior to this, they were scoring 19 ppg...that's a gigantic difference. People are assuming that Denver won't be able to keep up with the Buffalo offense. That may not be true.

Denver held them to 16. The Steelers (10-7) averaged 22 a game, they got 13 on Denver. Atlanta (8-9) wasn't a playoff team but finished 13th in scoring at 22.9 ppg, they got 6 on Denver. The Broncos defense struggled when CB Riley Moss was out for 4 games, but he's back now and he's 100%. He makes a huge difference because his presence let's them live in man coverage.

Fitz nailed it on the head for us Bills fans. We either are expecting a blowout game where Josh & Co. are spreading it around and James Cook and Ray Davis go on a tear or it will one of those gritty close games where the Bills have in the past struggled to close out and rely heavily on josh Allen doing superman things. Broncos are playing with house money and really feel like they have nothing to lose and were not projected to even be in the playoffs earlier this season. It has been a major success for the season with rookie QB for them and anything beyond regular season is bonus for them. The Bills have been here now to the post season 5 straight times and even with the "rebuild" year analysts had us going into this year the expectation is still the same for the Bills, we need to get to the show and win a Superbowl. As the 2nd seed that is a bit harder path looking at the Broncos defense for this week, and likely the Ravens rematch from earlier in the season for a divisional matchup, and ending with what we all are likely expecting a Chiefs/Bills AFC championship rematch. Again Fitz is right as a analyst you can look ahead but I know the Bills players are solely focused on this week and doing whatever they need to get the win and move on to the divisional round.

I noticed it's all about timing...but especially with a team like the Bills. They seem to lose when they can't find THEIR rhythm. Not A rhythm. It's when they do find their path, they end up looking unstoppable. They've only lost one game this year decisively. Baltimore. They just never got their feet on the ground. I am gonna take a middle ground. 2 score win. 30-20 Bills. I don't see blowout. I think the Bills and Allen are just another level over Denver. People forget Allen is a superhero in the playoffs. Either McDermott blows a lead through game management or the defense collapses after Allen gives them the lead late. The top defense in Denver, a rookie QB who looks good this year, combined with a McDermott defense that collapses in big moments and a coach who is bad at game management, makes it hard for me to see blowout, but I can see a solid 10 point win.

There is no way this is a blowout. Broncos have only been blown out once this year. Guess what? They blew out the Bills too. 2 out of 3 losses for the Bills was against top 5 pass rush. Now the #1 pass rush is coming to town. This will be a close game, and probably the best game of the wild card. Broncos find a way to win 31-24 with some unexpected heroics from Vele and Mims.

To me, this game will mostly depend on how the bills start. If buffalo goes up early we have a totally different defense. If we get in a shoot out our defense is very suspect

I give the bills the edge because Josh Allen is a beast in the playoffs and the bills have a run game that the broncos do not. I don’t expect rookie Bo Nix to outplay Josh Allen.

The hero of the game was Levi Wallace. You’ll probably have to google his name. This is how famous he is :) He actually has already been released. We are very thin at corner position, so when Riley Moss got hurt we started to struggle. But to be honest, the Broncos defense is not that great. We struggle pressuring QBs with a four man rush and have to blitz a lot. Plus we are weak at ILB and Safety. But, nevertheless, we can still be a dangerous defense situationally. We have an awesome defensive coordinator, and we can score on defense too. So, I am licking my chops with an anticipation when the Wilson’s dead cap money becomes available, and we can fill in the missing pieces. Of course, this won’t happen on this Saturday. But it’s already impressive that a supposedly 5 win team is in the playoffs.

@@smakarov24 The Broncos defense is amazing in certain areas, but Vance Joseph is kind of dunce and not really able to scheme them to elite status. Given how good the pass rush is and the fact that they have great corners, they really should be better than they are. Alas, because the stats look pretty good people actually think Vance Joseph magically became a defensive genius. It's really annoying to be honest.
