Loved the Nick Martini story! And I'm a cubs fan (obviously) so I don't listen to the other team's shows but I do love these crossovers. Just seems like Locked On has some great hosts for their baseball shows. Love Matt and Sam and these other hosts that I've heard on the crossovers seem great as well.

The crossover shows are very cool. Thanks for the great content. It’s been a rough go so far but we’re all in this together.

I think it is cool to hear the enemy's perspective of facing the Cubs.

Hoping getting back to Wrigley will make a difference. Hope is all I've got. Critical thinking that the Cubs can win some games right now just gives me a headache. Love the crossover, especially with Central rivals. More, please!

I said at the end of last season that I didn't want this team back intact in 2024. But only a couple of starting pitchers and the bullpen have had changes-- the position players are pretty much the same.

Pitching is way ahead of the hitting this year. Team batting averages are .240 , lowest since the Gibson era
@chrisweidner47686 ай бұрын
Thinking it was simply a matter of time with Imanaga. Guy has the slowest average velocity of any other starter in MLB. Also, karma is a thing. Not using him in St. Louis pissed off the baseball gods.
@johnlenon88726 ай бұрын
The Cubs struck out 39 times in 4 games. Many times with RISP. Many times looking. We learned in Little League at 6, the coach said anything close, swing. Granted, sometimes a pitch is actually a ball outside. Others, the pitch is one half inch off the plate. Or a half inch too high. Or on the black. Cubs batters just stand there with their bats doing nothing. And they take strike 1 way too much. If the batting average on any batter at 0-1 is what, .120? And the Cubs team batting avg is what, .220? Why not change the approach and ambush. You know, like the Braves. Moreover, even a pitch 92 down the middle, if they swing, they can't even hit that. It's fouled off. Gotta start hitting or they will win 65 games this year.

I don't like these Locked On episodes that mix one team with another. If I was interested in the other teams, I would watch them.
@MINNESOTA_PTSD6 ай бұрын
It’s not about us. It’s about the hosts. It’s about the hosts kind of carrying each other , and in some instances , learning from other hosts. We’ve got it good. But not all hosts are as knowledgeable about show dynamics and baseball knowledge as Matt/Sam are.
@rodneyelylesrealestate6 ай бұрын
I respectfully disagree. It is very much about us. Teams relocate without fan support. Restaurants close without patrons. TV shows are canceled if no one watches. The ONLY episodes I refuse to watch are these crossover shows. I don't want to support any shows about the Reds, Pirates, Cardinals, or Brewers. I don't care about their projections or outlook for the future. In our modern world of social media, hosts can network and share all they want behind the scenes. I would further argue that if the front office and players felt the way I feel, they would put a better product on the field and play like they care. Just win!

Lol at whoever liked his comment where he disagreed with me agreeing with him 😆. I’m literally saying , “yeah dude. The reason you don’t like the crossovers is bc they aren’t aimed at pleasing you.” *I DISAGREE* 😂 Ok Buddy lol

You gonna see Reds starters will look like Bob Gibson an Steve Carlton,Cubs have no hitting,an there catchers pathetic,teams are daring them to throw to second,Council not the problem,an gi e Hendricks a job in the minors,pay remainder of contract there,he's finished as a pitcher

Does anyone actually think that the Cubs will do any significant buying at all at the deadline? Not with their track record.

Buyers at the deadline? Sellers at the deadline. Time to get rid of Dansby Blauser and Jason Suzuki. They’re already stuck with bellinger for next near.

No one will take Swanson off our hands. Happ / Susuki maybe. We need a catcher that can hit over .200

Closer to being sellers than buyers currently. U couldn’t give Swanson away now with his contract. Absolutely brutal
