Leave poor Peri alone. She saved the Doctor's ass in this (and she's generally way more competent than she's given credit for.) I really loved their relationship dynsmic - they were constantly driving each other mad, yet, deep down there was a deep connection between the two of them. XD

Isn't it just? I rate it as one of the best TARDIS designs ever concocted for the series. THAT was the direction the new series designers should have gone in when they had to create the TARDIS interior sets, instead of the junkpunk console rooms we've gotten since 2005. Those sets are visual nightmares.

I agree. I just feel that Peri is so loyal to the Doctor, more so than some other companions, mainly because she stuck by him even after he calls her an alien spy, belittles her coutless times and tries to strangle her yet she doesn't ask to be taken home.

When I first saw that scene where the doctor strangles peri, I was seriously disturbed. For one it didn’t look like acting abs that Colin really threw Nicola around. I felt so bad for her for staying in the abusive relationship with the doctor.

Wonder what's wrong with the Rani's Tardis' chameleon device to having to hide it. Maybe her Tardis is also an older model that hardly works, since she was exiled.

buhe1 old comment but judging by the control interfaces it’s a more advanced model than either the doctor’s or the master’s with the chameleon circuit I’d imagine that her tardis is one of the more basic default outer shells

@bondfool Peri was supposed to be American, but Nicola's accent was way off. She does have a passable one, however, certain words she says are British as well as the pronunciation. She's gotten better in the Big Finish Audios, but you can still hear the accent slip occasionally. IMHO I think Gillan and Smith's American accents in sketches are much better.

Have six sixth doctor dvds, not including timelash which I'm selling or giving away, thinking of adding this and the two doctors. Mel's better with him than seven but I understand his companion in the audio books worked better with him than these two.
