The Menendez brothers were physically, sexually and psychologically abused by both parents, from their early years. They were robbed of a safe, secure childhood by both parents. I remember following this case, and thought at the time that the life sentence/ no parole was too harsh. They have served their debt to society, in my opinion. Thirty-five years behind bars is enough. They deserve to be released to their extended family who are welcoming them. I wish them the best.

There have been other boys in the music industry. Menudo have members who have said they were abused too. Their cousin even says some eye opening things he didn’t realize as a kid.

The issue with the M brothers, if they were in fact abused, I have a great deal of empathy for what they went through. If all of the evidence that says they were is true, it’s horrific and just awful that they endured what they did. However, the situation in which they killed their parents, it was planned and they were not facing any immediate danger when they did so. They were brutal, chasing down their mother as she attempted to crawl away. If everyone who suffered abuse were just allowed to kill their abusers whenever and however they chose, as in the case of these two, there would be murders walking around everywhere. I understand too that back when this all unfolded, there was much more of a stigma surrounding this type of abuse, but again - you can’t just kill your abuser(s) when you’re not facing danger/being harmed… you cannot plan out and purchase weapons specifically for their killing when they are sitting and watching tv. That’s not how things work. Now, I do think that they are more than deserving of a new trial whereby evidence of said abuse can be presented and lesser charges are on the table. In that scenario, they likely could be released with time-served. That I would definitely support - if a jury sees all of the evidence and is willing to convict of lesser charges or finds them not guilty, then by all means. But yeh - you can’t just be fine with everyone that’s suffered from abuse being justified and free to kill their abusers’ as they please.

First of all I'm sorry i have absolutely no empathy for this young lady driving the wrong way. If she has all of these problems then don't drink and drive 🤬 i don't care if you identify as a cat that's no excuse for drinking and driving. Scott i don't believe that it's even legal to leave a 10 year old child home alone for 3 days, honestly the Mom seems extremely selfish in my opinion and i hope she has to work very hard and beable to prove too the courts that she has learned her lesson before they ever decide to grant her children back to her, thank God nothing bad happened and who took care of the special needs children while the 10 year old was at school ⁉️

@@oh_k8 not really they could have left at any time! They were Adult's bottom line! They both had opportunities to pay attention (not party) & get extreme educations they didn't! Thus giveing them careers right out if college to live extremely good lives they didn't! Most who suffer these kind of traumatic things plot to as soon as thier old enough distance themselves from these abusers! They stayed for the money & not haveing to work or do anything includeing cleanup after themselves cook meals like average people do! I'm still curious if either 1 of them ever said anything to that psychiatrist about the abuse before admitting to him why they killed thier parent's? As He is required to inform authorities of any crime comitted by a patient or against a patient! Yes it's a traumatic difficult thing to talk about but they absolutely had no problem talking about it in court! No anger no fear no tears no nothing just saying well we were molested! Were they examined by physicians have they since recieved help in anyway for the trauma? It's very vague all of it! Even the Manudo member accusations why wait 30-40 years? At some point everyone of them realize he can do this to others! So no it doesn't add up! In PDiddys case he had alot of power & people have ended up dead! That is extreme fear not in this case! The manudo member wasn't even performing all that time what did he have to loose at that point? All questionable at best!
