Historically, MPLA had its support in and around Luanda, but it has now clearly lost this support. So my main question and confusion is how can they still be ahead in this election? Unfortunately, I am biased due to working in Angola for the past dozen years and have spoken with lots of people about this issue over this time.

Not the opposition that's contesting the elections, THE SUFFERING ANGOLAN PEOPLE WHO FLOCKED THE POLLS WHO ARE CONTESTING THE RESULTS.
