Will The Next Eruption Occur on MT. Fagradalsfjall Like The First 3 Eruptions?

This stuffed information pack includes lots of new footage and thermal drone footage as well so enjoy the video. I had to make this little Krafla package as well because it's a location that I plan to cover well in future but the Grindavik events look strange now as for earthquakes so feel free to tell me what you think. It would be excellent if the next eruptions would take place by MT. Fagradalsfjall, but if this long chapter moves any closer to the city, into the Krísuvik system, it would be a major disaster, but we need to prepare for what might hit us. And finally, if I were to guess what volcano will take off next, other than those on the Reykjanes Peninsula, I would say Askja for sure, but I might change my mind if the earthquakes patterns changes of course.

I went to Krafla & the crater, Viti when I was in Iceland last month. At least the weather was a lot better for you than it was when I was there.

It's very tricky, the road has closed and it's hard to get up there during winter, but if I get the chance to go up there this winter, I will of course use it...

Get more intelligence from actual boots on the ground, as it was done in the days of old, and Gylfi always delivers with metadata to back it up. Scientist seems to have gotten lazy from doing actual fact finding field work, and it's sad to see that these days. TY Gylfi, stay safe and keep up the great work.

Yum yum! Thank you for all the detailed information, including all the little hooks of interest dangled before us. So wish that I could be doing that, thermal imaging etc. But... I'm a little old lady so I'm just reading, watching and learning and I thank you for your assistance in my endeavor! ;-)

You're imagery and pictures is astonishingly beautiful. If it was not the end of the world, a collection of those would be some kind of coffee table book indeed.. Thank you for your informative and elegant presentation. Four thousand bus appointed to watch. This is a most exciting time to be alive to be chosen in blessed. To be a witness to God's judgment and the coming of the Kingdom of god in a righteous, loving holy eternity without sin. Evil violence and demonic. HALLELUJAH! ✝️🙌🙏🕊❤️🎵⌛️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Gylfi, you have s great talent for filming beauty in "badlands." It's a word that is used in the American west to describe desert areas made from sedentary rocks, where there is little growth, but shapes are exposed by wind and water erosion carves interesting shapes in the harder rock. I hope that someday you can come film it, but it sounds like you have your hands full. I remember people climbing "Big Ram" to film the first eruption. Stay safe out there in Hell.

Outstanding work, and beautiful footage. You may not be a geologist by schooling, but surely gained knowledge that doesn't exist in current textbooks. I have a feeling your work will be taught to young people in the future. Well done!

Another great video. The Krafla system is impressive. Too bad we did not have drones 40 years ago. I assume someone took movies from airplanes or helicopters back then, but those are so much more expensive to operate so there is probably little coverage. You have the background footage almost everywhere now, so you are ready the next time one of these volcanic systems starts erupting!

If you could safely fly the thermal at night the conflict with the heat of the sun on the ground would be over. Do you have a VR headset? They can be used with thermal drones, well drones in general. That would give you more flexibility with time also. Good to hear you, thanks for the video. Have a great weekend. ❤

Krafla last erupted in the 1700s and Lanzarote had eruptions around then. The 2021 Iceland volcanoe Nar ceased and almost immediately the La Palma volcano erupted. Coincidence?

Are you serious?? 😳 He didn't talk about German citizens coming from Hamburg?🤷🏼‍♀️ He was talking about the fastfood "Hamburger" that you eat - as they were all hungry and looking around for something to eat in a place/spot without any food on offer. So he didn't take a jab at, or poke fun of Germans who live in the port City of Hamburg!! 🤦🏼‍♀️
