GG's, I'm loving the 1v1 gameplay and it's fun to see that bit of passion. Mechanically if you're training ground to air dribbles from a dribble, I highly recommend dpad ball onto the car, drop the ball to the side then pick it up again to simulate a regular dribble, before you pop the ball, rather than having the ball perfectly centered on your car. Learning with slight variables increases stimulus to the brain as an unexpected benefit and it's a bit more game like because no one has nexto level of dribble control to keep the ball on the exact right spot of their car 100% of the time. I half expect that you only practice that stuff between matches anyway though.

Oh and one more thing, for your training regiment, hit your belt system a few times! Green belt and blue belt specifically always help with ball control for a session.

I love 1s too. Taught me a lot about tolerance and respect. If you don't respect your opponent the net is open and too much respect and they will outplay you. I don't focus too much about winning in 1s but finding a balance to play my way and have my opponent respect or tolerate my playstyle.

I had a few moments where I just didn't really want to play the game. I did that mechanically, just like a habit, not particularly having fun. The lack of progression in ranked games was a bit responsible for this to be honest. Thankfully I'm over that phase (hence me being here, hence me subscribing to the pacifist system, too) There are still play sessions that are a lot less pleasant, sure, but I'm having a lot more fun playing.

Im champ 1 in 1s but I feel so defeated. In casual I lose to c2 in 1s mainly because of kickoffs. Its just so frustrating

It took me like almost at 1000 hrs to finally start getting good airel control and dribble control. I'm willing to pay for some sessions if you're up for it

Why are you so obsessed with boost amounts? There's nothing inherently wrong with going for a play with low boost if the play is good and you have the mechs and speed to recover. But you act like it's always the stupidest thing ever, *even when you get scored on*. Weird way to think about the game.

You're completely correct, I'm so used to 2s where it is a really bad thing to do as you can force the possession out of the opponents hands. However in learning how useful it is to stick around in 1s with the random bobbles and being so close that it's hard to get the angle 💪😁
