I would be surprised if Skizz is added. He isn’t a very good builder or redstoner. He has an amazing personality but that is the only thing I see helping him. I would be happy though

@@CoppeRoseBush I would LOVE to see Skizz on HC!! He, Impulse and Tango have such great chemistry together and the fact that they are IRL neighbors is something that helps. Plus he and Impulse have been best friends for over 25 years so that is another thing they have going. So he is definitely my first choice for a new hermit. But my second choice is more difficult considering it's between Sausage and Joel. I was a subscriber to Sausage ever since he did Source Block and I had followed Avomance to it and discovered him. Both of them are fantastic builders, and either (or both!) would make great additions to the Hermitcraft family.

I already figured there was like a 90 percent chance we would see some of the empires people join hemitcraft. I am not sure if they would go for the more social people or those who tend to run off and do their own thing but the results should be interesting either way.

Honestly, despite a lot of people really wanting some of the Empires members to become Hermits, I feel like too much leakage between the two SMPs may cause their respective series to lose their own uniqueness, which in big part comes from the uniqueness of their casts. The Season 9 Hermitcraft-Empires crossover was fun while it lasted, but I don't think such a thing should ever become permanent. I'd much rather like to see some people who _don't_ have any active SMPs they're part of to join, to be frankly honest.

My feeling is that Grian will want to Mumbo-hiatus-proof his season so he'll probably get Joel to play with, and during the Empires crossover Pixlriffs had such immediate rapport with everyone that I think he's got a great chance. It's hard to completely discount Skizz but I just don't know if he's quite well rounded enough.

they've done a server-merge before with another SMP way back in like season 3 or 4. They were a smaller group then though and today a merge wouldn't do well probably. Also a lot of the Empires members don't even want a season 3 of their own SMP, projects like these are huge and not all of them have the time and commitment for it, sadly

Even before the incident Generik was denied rejoining the server(when he wanted to, back in season 5) and Generik's "trolling" last season(technically the season before the last, since s9 is now "last season") prompted replies from the hermits most of which were either neutral or negative towards him. Considering that for someone to join hermitcraft, they have to get every hermit's approval, I think it's fair to assume that Generik will not return. I have watched that podcast episode and yes, Bdubs seems to still be friends with Generikb however I did not say that all the hermits individually wouldn't want to associate with him, just that their group wouldn't(and still, didn't present this as fact).
