Excellent response. Don't forget the story of King David. After his sin with Bathsheba, God sent Nathan the prophet to convict him of his sin. Nathan told the story of a man who owned a ewe lamb. The lamb played with his children and slept in his arms at night. One day a rich man came and seized the lamb, slaughtered it and fed it to his guest. An outraged David said "Who is this man? He should be put to death." Nathan the prophet declared "You are the man". I think it's interesting that God used a story about a person and their relationship with their animal to convict David of his sin. This tells me God understands the relationship people have with their animals, and he is good with it.

nice to believe it but why did god create animals predutator/ pray, with pain recepters too? And then drown them if U believe in Adam and Eve and the flood. Then theres the lake of fire, coming down and burning all the animals to dealth.If thats not to be interpreted literally, theres still the great tribulation with mass horendus dealth for man and beast alike. Im sure theres no rapture for animals. Also, didnt Jesus let the demons possess 2,000 swine. He also was very dismisive of the doves in cages in the temple. " Get these things out of here". Even inamimate objects were not imune to his rath. Jesus curses the fig tree for not bearing fruit when it was out of swason. Yes,, its doubably simbolic. Even so, the gospel writers could have avoided making making him look like a petulant child. As far as Paul indicating all animals get reserected, my hunch is Pauls speaking unilaterally as hes projecting his own inocents to God. In the same vain, Pauline theology is often cited as evidence for universalism.

My dog is dying, and I've been wondering about this while also just trusting that God is good, -- knowing that His will is better than anything I could ask or imagine. However, even though this topic has been on my mind, I've not searched for any answers online or elsewhere. This title just popped up in my recommendations today, and I'm glad it did.

That means that our deceased pets' spirits are in heaven now....and when someone tells a child that their pet is in a better place after they die, it's the truth. Thank you so much for this reassurance. So many times I hear that animals can't go to heaven because they're not saved. But they are innocent. God does not condemn the innocent. Combined with everything else I've studied, it makes perfect sense that all creation is redeemed. Only man has a choice because man sinned and caused the fall. That sure takes the sting out of losing a pet and thinking you'll never see them again. Thank you.

God brought Josephine, my dog, into my life. Having to let her go a few days ago, I realize Josephine was the greatest gift God could give me, besides Salvation. How she came into my life, our time together, our adventures, she was a devoted companion with unconditional love. The bond we developed is now part of my soul. I didn't say good bye, I said I will see you soon. I am crushed, destroyed, but I know we will be together again when I die. God is a loving, merciful God, he is far greater than we can comprehend. Don't sell God short, he gave us gifts of love with our pets. God will reunite us with our pets because he loves us and our pets. Animals are a main component throughout the Bible. Psalm 36:6 is one scripture that shows God's love for animals. Reuniting us with our pets, would be a loving thing to do. As humans, we underestimate God's compassion and love. To all of those that have lost your dear companions, You will see them soon, until then, they reside in your heart and soul. Before I go to sleep, I look at Josephine's pictures and videos, then I meet her in my dreams.

Both humans and animals have a soul. It's called nephish in Hebrew in Genesis. The difference is that humans are made in God's image as well. Humans must repent and get to the Cross and live for our Savior. But I fully expect our loving God to take the souls of animals back to Himself when they die.

That's exactly right. How often have you heard preached "only man has a soul"? But it's false! "The man became a living soul" according to Genesis but Genesis 1 also uses the same word nephesh of the sentient animals! Can God do it? Yes. So the only question is "why wouldn't he?" Since Adams sin brought death to animals why wouldn't the second Adams obedience bring life?

1Corinthians 15 is Paul’s response to the doctrine of the Sadducees who were trying to convince new believers that they were wrong about Jesus and the resurrection. Applying this to animals is stretching the context pretty thin. A better scripture is Romans 8 where Paul says that all creation is groaning under the curse of man’s sin and is anticipating the day He will be revealed. The language Paul used no doubt includes people, plant and animal life being restored to perfection. Does this mean our individual pets will be in heaven? I don’t know but I trust God to do great things for His people and whatever that is no one will be disappointed in heaven.

Hell? why would a loving God create something and then if it fails torment it for eternity? Is that how a loving parent would punish their child? NO. God will give eternal life. On earth (He isnt going to simply let Satan change his plan of people living on earth forever). When you die, thats it, there is nothing. Just like before you got here. You will either be resurrected or you will not. I feel sorry for people who think God would create a horrible place like hell and let it go on forever. Satan is running this show right now. He loves having people view God this way and the power he gets from knowing that most of the world thinks He changed everything. Well folks Satan did not change everthing forever. Its a detour but when its over Gods plan will be carried out. Mankind right now is like Job. Satan told God if he backs off and doesnt make everything so nice that He could turn ALL mankind against God. Well He failed and he is pissed off and he is trying to take as many down with him as he can. It can be anytime now. God is going to come when nobody expects it and the whole world is going to change after the God removes satan.

@alexdex9439

I respect what Doug has to say and his reasoning is fairly sound. However I must respectfully disagree with his conclusions. I personally don't think animals should comeback because it undermines Human resurrection. Are animals to be connected to God's life force and live forever as well? Humans have a privileged position of being God's representatives and one of his poignant qualities is his immortality which belivers would inherit. I don't see precident for animals to inherit this quality. Which is essentially what is happening when resurrection takes place. Also I don't think it's an accident that no animal in the bible is ever resurrected even for temporary life in this world. I understand that people want their beloved pets to be with them in the new earth and new heaven but I think many of the arguments atheist use for something being sweet because it doesn't last apply here.

@@stephenglasse9756 Its a fair point that you raise but I believe that this salvation will be akin to changes like carnivorous animals becoming herbivorous. I also think it would be impractical to raise all the animals that have ever died since there are far more of them than there are Humans. This is mainly due to their ability to procreate more prolifically than Humans. Its hard to imagine it would be good for all the plant life for that many herbivorous consumers to exist at one time. I think a component of Human rulership over Earth's gardens will involve some selective and minimal culling of certain animals to maintain harmony.

If our pets are not in Heaven, then I prefer not to go there. I want to go where the animals are and moreso where our past pets are. God in all his awesomeness, grandiosity and goodness would not tease us with giving us the biggest loves of our lives for just a short while and then take them back for ever. Bible says that God loves animals more then we do. My 9.5 year old kitty - Angel died on Tuesday unexpectedly and I found him lifeless on the floor upon my arrival from school. The way we understood and loved each other is incomprehensible and impossible to describe in words. The love was so deep, pure and profound... That cat was the biggest and only joy of my life. I went through severe depression few times and he always have been there for me. My heart died with him and life became just an empty shell. I count on God's words and promises to reunite me with him soon. Jesus said that he won't withhold anything from those that love him. In a mean time I can't stop crying. Miss my baby boy so much and I am going through a literal hell here without him.

Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". The bible does not exclude pets. Except the animals in the ark, all living animals perished with the humans in the flood. Genesis 7:21 "Every living thing that moved on land perished-birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind." Marc 16:16 " Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." Can pets chose or reject Christ? Marc 16:16 "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Can pets carry out the great commission? Neither Jesus nor the prophets, nor the apostle owned pets. In fact this is what Jesus says about dogs Mathew 7:6 "Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces." Solomon who received his wisdom from God says this about dogs. Proverbs 26:11 "As a dog returns to his vomit so fools repeat their folly."

There is no mention in the Bible of a pet heaven or dog heaven-and for good reason. Animals cannot take the steps needed to qualify for “the heavenly calling.” (Hebrews 3:1) These steps include taking in knowledge, exercising faith, and obeying God’s commands. (Matthew 19:17; John 3:16; 17:3) Only humans were created with the prospect of living forever.-Genesis 2:16, 17; 3:22, 23. To go to heaven, earthly creatures must be resurrected. (1 Corinthians 15:42) The Bible mentions a number of resurrections. However, every one of them involved humans, not animals. Therefore, when an animal dies, it stays dead. The Bible teaches that out of all the creatures on earth, only a limited number of humans will go to heaven. (Revelation 14:1, 3) They go there to rule as kings and priests with Jesus. (Luke 22:28-30; Revelation 5:9, 10) The vast majority of humans will be resurrected to life on a paradise earth.-Psalm 37:11, 29.

He's taking scripture out of context. There's nothing specifically pointing to the resurrection of animals... 36 You fool! That which you sow does not come to life unless it dies; 37 and that which you sow, you do not sow the body which is to be, but a bare grain, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body just as He wished, and to each of the seeds a body of its own. 39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fish. 40 There are also heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one, and the glory of the earthly is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown a perishable body, it is raised an imperishable body; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 So also it is written, “The first man , Adam, became a living soul .” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 47 The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we will also bear the image of the heavenly. 1 Corinthians 15:36‭-‬49 NASB Paul here gives for responses 1) the illustration from nature (v36-38); 2) a description of resurrection bodies (v39-42); 3) contrast of earthly and resurrection bodies. (v42b-44) and 4) a reminder of the prototype resurrection of Jesus Christ (v45-49)
@Henry._Jones
@Henry._Jones 3 жыл бұрын
It wasn't out of context. He tracks right along with what it says. Your second category "2) a description of resurrection bodies (v39-42)," is specifically, a description **according to** the categories of types of flesh that are sown as "bare grain" in verse 37.

So a good thing he gave us was marriage. So, why will none be given to marriage (Matt. 22:30), in heaven if what you're saying is what was meant by that Scripture?. I feel this is just our desire to want something to be true, so we read it into the Scriptures. Animals are often used in Scripture to paint pictures, just as was said in the video of dragons. Many use the "lion laying with the lamb" to say animals will be in heaven, but clearly, that is making a statement about ultimate peace. A lion and a lamb laying together is the clearest picture that could be humanly painted for humans to comprehend the immense peace that will be in eternity. I find it very odd that all pets will be in heaven without any regeneration process of being drawn by God and raised to life in Christ and yet Uncle Larry who dies apart from Christ will go to hell. This makes zero sense Biblically. This is a clear attempt to read our earthly wants and desires into a heaven that we can't even fathom with our earthly minds. This argument you make falls flat when we ask the same question about our spouses. "Why would God withhold our spouse and kids if "we can't fathom all the things He has in store for us? ""And He wants us to have all these good things," mean what you claim it means? This is reading something into this verse that was not intended when you start talking about animals and other earthly desires. I believe the problem is that what you think is a "strong desire" or yours now will not be in eternity. You're using your earthly mind to comprehend things the Bible says we can't comprehend.

Two pieces of Scripture that I feel are relevant to this, the first obviously and the second less so. The first is from Proverbs (don't know chapter and verse but you can look it up), it says that a righteous man has regard or care for the life of his beast, and animal that he owns or has dominion over. Now if a relatively righteous but still sinful human being cares about his animals, surely the perfectly righteous God cares about of His animals even more. God loves your dog more than you do. The second is from Numbers. It's part of the story of Balaam, where he's on the road riding his donkey and is intercepted by an angel with a drawn sword which at first only the donkey can see. It (she? don't remember) tries to avoid walking toward the angel several times but Balaam keeps getting it to go back to the road and getting angry at it. Eventually he's so angry he starts to hit the donkey beyond what is necessary to prod it in a certain direction. Scripture says God "opens the mouth" of the donkey, and it speaks. What it says is not (it seems to me) God delivering words through the donkey, the donkey speaks from its perspective about how bad it is that Balaam has gotten this angry and hit it when the donkey has been faithful to him for many years. It seems to me that God temporarily gave the donkey the ability to communicate what it in some sense was already thinking and feeling. I believe this brief event offers us a rare glimpse at the inner world of animals and may help us to see what their nature is. That's critical to me to the question of whether individual animals that lived on Earth will be resurrected versus there just being new animals in Heaven. If animals don't have some kind of soul or spirit like we do, I would say they wouldn't be individually resurrected, it just wouldn't be part of their nature to be able to do that. But this look into the donkey's mind makes me lean towards thinking animals do have some sort of spirit and would be individually resurrected. Though I might be weird in taking it a step further. I think if any earthly creature besides humans have spirits and can be individually resurrected, they probably all can. An ant might seem like a much lesser creature than a dog or a horse, but all creatures are lowly before God. I would not be shocked if not only large animals but also insects and even plants and microbes might be individually resurrected. I also suspect that if animals are individually resurrected they might also be glorified. You might have a conversation with your dog or a crow or a mosquito just like Balaam had with his donkey. Ultimately I don't know. I *do* know that God is free and sovereign over all things and that His will is perfect. Whatever eternal fate or lack thereof He has planned for all of the living creatures is better and more glorious to Him than anything I could come up with. As far as pets go, my dog is old currently and every day I pray that he would have a place in God's eternal Kingdom, but that even if he doesn't and this life is the end for him I always give thanks that God has blessed us both with so many years together. I'm a wicked sinner, and each day I still have my dog with me in this life is a blessing and mercy I don't deserve but receive by His grace.

@Caleb P I agree in principle. However, I think in modern times people overcorrect too far in the direction you're talking about. Many people today who think along these lines might describe the poor man's treatment of his one sheep in Nathan's parable to David as overly pampering, yet it is clearly held up as virtuous in Scripture. Having a "house pet" i.e an animal you keep purely because you enjoy having it around is never condemned in Scripture. Though indulging and spoiling is condemned (also in Proverbs as well as elsewhere) in the case of one's own children. In wisdom it is clear this should be applied just as much if not moreso to domestic animals including ones not kept for labor. Proverbs is clear that holding back discipline is a sign of hate and disregard, not love.

actually Paul used the term 'different flesh' when talking about humans, the birds, animals and fish, not different seed. Saying that it means different seed for different types of flesh for the sake of creating a new life in resurrection when the scriptures are talking about the resurrection of humans is engaging some creative eisegesis. I don't think the case that Doug tries to make is sound. Personally I don't know the answer to the question because I don't believe the bible answers the question conclusively, but I'm comfortable with that. From a pragmatic standpoint, and this is just my personal logic, I can't imagine every animal, fish, and bird that ever lived being resurrected. If we're talking about the earth, the planet would be overrun with creatures. Do the math. Of course God can do as he pleases but I have to wonder what the point would be in doing that.

one of the arguments I have heard over and over again against animals being in eternity is the argument "so you think mosquitoes, cockroaches etc... will be in eternity?" The answer to that in my book is VERY simple. We look at those creatures thru the lens of the curse - we have NO idea what the mosquito was like before the fall and the curse. In eternity the mosquito and cockroach etc... will be back the way they were originally intended and we will have no problem with them whatsoever. Maybe I am crazy but that's the way I see it anyway.

Your interpretation is that in order for us to receive resurrection in Christ upon death we must follow Christ. He must be the lord we confess to, give up our wicked sins to and worship above any covetous thing....and all animals automatically receive this?? Sorry to the people sad about losing beloved pets but this is a man who is trying to comfort at the expense of any credible discernment. The questioner seems to be more honest throughout. Animals are a DIFFERENT type of seed and yes we obviously know there will be animals but there is NO WAY to come out thinking it will be your pets. You will take on new pets. Unless you have a repentant, BORN AGAIN OF THE SPIRIT animal in your midst how on earth are you finding this to be expected or likely? There are things you WANT to believe and things you have scriptural reason to believe. Obviously God can do that if He deemed it. However if He does it will be at a great surprise because He kept it from His message.

Animals don't need a savior to be redeemed as they never sinned but suffered the curse that man's sin caused. Ps. 36:6 "O lord thou savest man and beast". GNV, WYC,RSV. I put my 15 1/2 yr. old dog Pudge down yesterday and I am beyond heartbroken. The emptiness and pain is horrific but I firmly believe I will see him again.

It is interesting that in the creation it simply answers this question. In Gen. 1: 25 "God made the animals of the earth according to [ag]their kind, and the livestock according to [ah]their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good." Genesis 2: 7 Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living [g]person. In the first passage it says God made the animals. It does not imply that God breathed life into them. In the second passage it states God breathed life into man. One can see that God breathed a holy breath into Man. As God says 'I am holy." Anything that comes from God is holy. The animals did not receive this breath so therefore they do not have a soul. With not having a soul there is nothing to resurrect so you will not see your pets in Heaven.

I’m pretty sure that God personally breathing life into man is to show His purpose for them. We are in His image, the animals aren’t. He created them but didn’t create death. @@robertlewis6915 I am confused by your response. In regards to your first question, if I am understanding it correctly, could animals die in the Garden of Eden? I don't know because the Bible doesn't say they would. A good follow up question would have been, "Were the animals allowed to eat from the Tree of Life? According to the Bible only Adam and Eve ate from the Tree. Another item is were the animals allowed in the Garden of Eden? The only ones that had access to the Garden was Adam and Eve according to the Bible. If an animal died in Eden then I would have to assume, due to God having a plan for all things, the animal would have been taken care of. What's the difference between eating a cow and a plant then? Animals did not become fearful of man until after the flood. Then man was allowed to eat of everything on Earth (Genesis 9: 1-3). Prior to the flood man would have ate only the plants and not the animals. I hope I understood your questions correctly.

@@jamesstrohl2016 As to animals being in the garden- it seems fairly clear that Adam needed to be adjacent to the animals to name them, and context indicates he remained in the garden. But why did God establish a difference between eating a cow and an apple if they are both essential non-living? How can the blood of a lifeless beast be in any way a symbol of Christ's death on the cross? Why does Scripture continually treat animal death as having some similarity to human death, when it should, according to you, be essentially the same as a plant's death? I suggest looking up the word 'nephesh' in Hebrew and its usage in the Old Testament, as while I don't remember the details, I believe it will elucidate the reason Christian theology has always held that animals (unlike plants, insects, microbes, fungi) did not die prior to the Fall.
@jamesstrohl2016
@jamesstrohl2016 3 жыл бұрын
@@robertlewis6915 Where God placed Adam in the Garden the scripture does not say that he was limited to the Garden. Adam would have been able to leave the Garden and go into Eden. If God forced Adam to stay in the Garden then that would have been against Adam having free will. From the scripture I do know that God met Adam in the Garden. The only thing that God told Adam was not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. In regards to the animals it just says that God brought them to Adam to name them. That is very plausible but that doesn't mean Adam was in the Garden when he named them. It just means that wherever Adam was at God brought the animals to him. The difference between animals and plants, while both are living only the plants was Adam allowed to eat. He was not allowed to eat the animals. That is the difference. God demanded a blood sacrifice to atone for the sin that Adam and Eve did. Plants do not have blood like we do and the animals have. The Hebrews writer confirms this as well as the Patriarchs and the Priest of Israel. As the blood of the animals was spilled for their sins it still didn't offer the forgiveness that was needed to allow man to dwell with God in Heaven. That would require the sacrifice of a divine nature and that is where Christ comes in. I did not equate the death of an animal equal to a plant. The fact that God required a death of animal can be seen in the story of Cain and Abel. This is the point that is being made. God said Adam could eat from the plants but did not give permission to eat the animals. The scripture does not support that animals would not die. In fact quite the opposite. The animals would not have access to the Tree of Life. Adam was the one who had the breath of God breathed into him, none of the animals. How God would have taken care of the dead animals? as I stated in an earlier post I don't know due to the very fact that the scripture doesn't say how that would have been done. Finally in order to understand the word 'Nephesh" you must go a little farther in the definition of the 'Nephesh'. One needs to look at the word 'Sentience'.

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, Heaven could be worse than Hell, after you have settled into your new mansion in Heaven there are a few things to consider, first there is no sin and no temptation, there can be no sex because sex leads to temptation and sin, Earthly desires will not exist, no sex = no new children, the joys and dramas of children for young couples will be lost, everything will be pure, that means all books, TV, movies, plays etc. will have no crime, no sex, no sin, nothing irreligious at all, Entertainment cannot exist without these elements, imagine the Daily News, "Nothing happened at all today, everybody was happy, we all prayed, tune in tomorrow for more of the same" Of course there will be bible reading classes but after 100 years of these it would drive a person to drink, DRINK? sorry no alcohol in Heaven because booze leads to sin, fighting etc. There are no politics in Heaven, politics leads to dissension and unhappiness, Jesus makes all the decisions and you cannot disagree or question any of his decisions, Everybody in Heaven is deliriously happy and they all get along with each other, what seems perfectly right to one person cannot be an affront to another otherwise there would be disagreement, disagreement leads to violence, any arguments would be adjudicated by Jesus and the person at fault, unless he/she admitted their error would be banished to Hell. No sport in Heaven, sport is always full of controversy and conflict so no sport allowed, even a friendly non gambling game of poker could lead to problems. All these happy people in Heaven will continue to be happy for eternity, forever, perpetuity without any of the sinful activities that tempted them when they lived in the world, THINGS THAT WILL NOT EXIST IN HEAVEN - Sin and temptation, sex, new children, books, TV, movies, plays, alcohol, any stimulants, politics, disagreements, sport, pets. Of course there is always gardening, that is harmless but after 500 years or so this activity would become a little wearing, Tending the sheep? sorry no animals in Heaven, people only keep animals for food, warmth and companionship, everything in Heaven is provided by God, food, clothes etc. and if you were permitted to keep companion animals sooner or later these would bring you into conflict with neighbors and this won`t be allowed in Heaven, No fights, no wars and everybody is happy sitting down, weaving their baskets and singing hymns, what a wonderful future Christians look forward to and I am really sorry that I`m headed for Hell, WHOA!! Both places are as bad as each other, both would lead to insanity for the residents, WHAT HAVE WE GOT OURSELVES INTO ? ? ?

I think the image of man is significant. Other animals do not have this appearance attributable to the appearance of God. Jesus is the Messiah of the Jews and Gentiles, and came back as the Sacrificial Lamb of God-not an actual lamb, but a human (an Israelite). Surely not all animals are perfect-take a great white shark. Are they destined for heaven or hell? Do they have a Messiah that God sent to save them from Hell? Surely they need one, one would think, since all they do is kill. But God designed them that way; are they a natural enemy? Perhaps designed as a way to explain/understand demons in the spiritual world? Perhaps humans could intercept with certain animals in prayer?

@@markequila9436 that passage does not address what Doug says and is in no way a validation of his 1 Corinthians context

Dogs aren't judgemental either, clearly you missed the point... Christ gave his life for all sin yours and mine... A dog would selflessly sacrifice without question to protect it's master meanwhile humans will barely stop at a crosswalk for their fellow man so whatever... As for the blasphemy comment, you'll be judged by the same measure you judge others... I've seen far more love and humanity displayed by pets as of late than humans and the above commentary reinforces that observation in my opinion... Nice to see no one is exempt from trollish behavior these days, I don't give offense YOU take it... I'll respect your views and opinions you should try to exercise the same.

Furthermore two k9 officers were just shot protecting officers in an ambush... What do dogs do at the retirement home, or at St Judes visiting kids? How about the many service animals for the handicapped and impaired? Or K9 cops and bomb sniffing dogs? Remember Hands and Feet and Deeds? Well those paws produce alot of fruitful deeds and increase the quality of life in so many individuals that to judge them as beasts just shows how much of a beast you are... A pets life is brief and fleeting, so you realize YOURS is the same... Now go Live , love and play the day is at hand...

Animals do not go to heaven, because neither does man. Heaven is the dwelling place of God and his Holy Angels (Gen 27:29, Matt 18:10, 1 The 1:6- 7). Man is an anomaly amongst creation, part material and part spiritual (Psalm 51:11). Saved humans (Col 1:27) are destined for a new body and a renewed earth (Rom 8:18- 25, Rev 21) that contains animals (Isaiah 11, 65). God cares about the animals (Noah’s Ark, Genesis 9: 8 -11, Jonah 4:11, Matt 10:29, Luke 12:6). God desires for man to bring peace to the animal kingdom ( Eden in Gen 2, Pro 12:10). Jesus returns to earth riding a white horse (Rev 19:11). In eternity, there will be universal physical pleasures such as singing and eating (Luke 24:41). God desires to give us all good things (Luke 11:11+, Matt 7:11) both material and spiritual, and individualizes our experience of eternity (John 14:2). If pets make you happy, then there will be pets in eternity. If books make you happy, then there will be books in eternity.

I wonder if everything comes back if certain places will not be overcrowded. Dinosaurs, mastadons and mammoths take up a lot of space, but I am pretty sure that if everyone who ever lived in London or New York City comes back the populations there will be problem. Standing room only.
