Glad you got it fixed! I've got 15k on mine so far and am just waiting for this or the coolant leak issue to show up. Thanks for the video, I guess I'll be adding a spare coil to my toolbox 😂

Must be a BMW thing. Happens on the cars pretty often too. Can you troubleshoot it the same way? By pulling the plug on the coil and listen for the idle change? Not sure if that's safe to do on bikes like it is on cars. Makes diag super quick and keeps you from replacing all 4 coils.

@Z28muscle They are under the tank and air box so not as easy to access but yes all four coils are the same and can be swapped to test.

Hang on to those old coils if only one is bad they may get you out of a pinch in the future. Next time one goes bad you can feel the header pipes the one w the bad coil wont be as hot

Nice to see the k67 back up and running. Been through the same situation with my 2020 trying to identify as a Ducati for the day. Exhaust sounds good but it’s time for brentune to get rid of the rough cold start and that flat spot below 9k 🤮 Hit me up if you ever have questions. I’ve had my ‘20 s1k since it was new and been through all the common issues

Glad things are looking + after the crap you've been through since being stranded at the side of the road. Tip for future Dank, if cylinder gos down spit or temp gun down pipes to see what one then swop plugs, try, then coil packs and see if cylinder swops and that's the problem, cheaper. Surprised the software didn't say coil or misfire on cylinder "?". If not seen Ghostrider vids, check'um out. Sure you would of, but just in case. Peace

You will need to Flash the ECU now to that exhaust to prevent the bike from running super lean or rich, and give it better prefomance. Also might want to change that oil bruh you can't even see it in the window , and what you can see is black.

wow nice you got really lucky thank god. Though I can't help think that there is something else going on... I've never heard a S1000RR with a Cobra exhaust so I can't be sure but the idle and start revs don't sound like a normal S1000RR ... Either way you will need to ECU flash it next its not designed to work with a straight pipe ...

@@Dankwheelie they fix choppy idle at startup which is usually the giveaway that yours probably isnt and id almost assume that nobody would flash it with stock exhaust unless it had an aftermarket beforehand. Also if you can find the ecu there is sometimes a sticker from the tuner on it

Look up reading spark plugs for ways to see if they are being fuel starved, not firing at all, oil build up from leaking seals and so on. Hey at least you got it back running. Enjoy it. Mine is in New Jersey with connecting rod issue lol. Oh well

he did...once he knew the issue after a PROFESSIONAL troubleshooting, he gave it the correct parts, in the order they told him to plugs then coils. If he had done what you said he wouldve pulled the whole engine and swapped it needlessly🤣🤣
