Hi Christopher. When the royal mint produce mintage figures do you think it would also be a good idea to provide details of circulation figures? You would then know if coins such as the Britannias are actually out there and how many have actually been put into circulation. Likewise it would be clearer how many salmon 50ps have actually been circulated for 2023

I have 3 £5.00 coins, a queen a rolling stones, and the Who I got the Who presentation pack signed buy Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey last year on tour ....I think the coins are legal tender...

Coins NIFC are really medals, not coins, aren’t they? While they might be legal tender, they should hold the same position as territory coins IMO. That’s not to say they don’t have value. But if not intended for circulation, they’re not ‘coins’.
