Love TUI and always book with them, we flew out of gate 15 and flew on the exact same plane to Gran Canaria on the 17th of June, great video.

7:58 Those white aircraft next to the Tui one were also hired by Tui so chances are you could fly on one of those back as they are 2/6 Tui aircraft based at EMA at the minute

Saw the "nightmare" vid. We recently went with TUI from Dublin to Santa Ponsa, onto Globales Santa Ponsa Park. It wasn't a TUI flagged plane, an A320 operated by a Maltese airline and despite some turbulence it was smooth, entertaining and relaxing. No problem at airport checks at Palma but then, we didn't choose to leave the EU. Maximum check in queue time was 45mins, that was in Palma on return. A mere 15min at Dublin Airport. Check in is not necessarily the fault of TUI. East Midlands is a regional airport, Dublin Airport is far larger and more organised.

Happened to us last year when we flew to Kos from Manchester. We got down to the runway, pilot says we'll have to go back to the stand as there's an electrical fault on a panek, it's safe to fly out but couldn't fly back to the UK because of aviation. We had 1 hour to fix the problem otherwise we'd of had to wait for new cabin crew, we took off 2 hours 45 minutes late
