Will This IFS 2006 Sequoia Handle 37’s????

Quick video of our Fordyce trip, I broke a CV axle shaft which is a aftermarket cv. I will be going back to the OEM due to the metal in the oem is much stronger. Just a quick video to show you guys what broke and how I got it out. Thanks for watching!

I just got done today upgrading my 04 Tundra. New upper/lower control arms/bushings. Camburg uppers. New upper/lower ball joints, new hubs/wheel bearings. New stablizer ends. Method Racing beadgrips with BFG All Terrain KO3's. Bilstein 6112's. It's cool to see what you can do with one of these old Yotas!

Were those axles Oe? When it broke was the front Locker engaged?

Make sure the roller bearings that the axles going into the differential that the axles are supported by aren’t worn out. There’s a kit that replaces them with bushings that are a lot more durable. This won’t eliminate future axle breakage but will help.

RCV axels see if they are available for this model. That’s what I use on my Tacoma with IFS and 38” tires. No issues.

Thanks for the input, I’m just gonna go back to OEM cv. RCV would be nice too but couldn’t justify spending $2500 on this IFS setup. Planning to go SAS one of these day.

Get rid of the ifs junk and convert to solid front axle problem solved

This has been my biggest fear with mid travel ifs 35s with oe reman cvs. Thanks for showing this, ive been wondering how to do this

Glad I could help with your concern. Although I have seen some other guys drilling a hole into the shaft and using a puller to pull it out. I honestly don’t like that method due to the contamination of metal shavings. But whatever works….
