Words like this are so brutal for Wordle. Took me 6 tries as well, and I opted for some test words to eliminate possibilities. STEAL, CRANE, PAGER, HOWDY, FAVOR, WAFER. I tried FAVOR to distinguish wafer from waver. If they'd both been gray, it would have been a toss-up between waxer and waker.

There was also Rarer and Waver you forgot about. I mean you did mention Waver before you guessed Gamer but after that you forgot about Waver.

Yikes that was close. A E R trap has to be one of the worst. There's just so many possibilities.
