THANK YOU for all your hard work and investigations! You are the first to post an update on this that I could find (and I've been looking). Interested to see what the FDA will report. I read somewhere they are expected/due by September to address this.

Glad you found them helpful! Important to have some data about risks with typical use to guide decision making. Look forward to seeing what we hear from the FDA.

These are interesting studies. Although 50 degree C is not room temperature, how likely is it in your opinion that during transportation such medications are stored in cool place? Are there some guidelines on this worldwide? Thank you.

It varies by manufacturer. I do think these findings have implications for transport and suggest that cold-chain transportation might be optimal. Fortunately at baseline after they picked up from the store, most products did not have meaningful benzene levels (though Valisure has not been transparent about these data), suggesting transportation might not be a major issue with current practices.

Thank you! Im a dermatologist practicing in an incredibly high temperature area (plus 110). Im getting concerned about continuing BP on my patients especially since Im not aware of the conditions in which BP was transported to our hospitals. Any thoughts?

I think if living in an area with consistently high temperatures, refrigeration is optimal to prevent thermal degradation and reduce risk.

@@DrJohnBarbieri thing is I cant guarantee in the transport process temperature control was achieved as a result I’ve been refraining from recommending benzyl peroxide products. Am I being paranoid?
